This was yet another lovely birthday for me in my favorite table at my favorite restaurant. The food was amazing. The service was exceptional, and the view was incredible.
Good food, service was a little slow today but otherwise a good dinner
Absolutely love this place and it is a must every time I visit the area! Watched seals playing and bald eagles flying.
Loved it.
Over rated. Dukes is way better, always go to Dukes instead.
Took my Dad here for Father's Day and it was an amazing experience. Made a 7:30 reservation and they were able to sit us a few minutes early. We got a table right by the windows with a breathtaking view of the water and Mt. Rainier. Our waiter was right was very consistent, and had the perfect banter with my family. Drinks were delicious and the food was even better. Unfortunately not a place I can afford to go to often, but definitely recommend and will be going back again.
Unfortunately, our visit to The Lobster Shop fell short of expectations. The food was underwhelming. My chicken piccata was overwhelmed by garlic, masking any of the dish’s usual brightness. The lobster pasta sounded promising but was just okay. The pasta was gummy and clumped together, which distracted from the seafood.
The dining environment also left a lot to be desired. The restaurant was uncomfortably loud, making conversation difficult. In addition to the general noise level, we could hear dishes crashing from the kitchen throughout our meal, which added to the chaos rather than the ambiance.
Another frustration was the 1.5% surcharge for the kitchen team. While I support fairly compensating staff, this kind of fee should be built into menu prices and not tacked on at the end. Presenting it as a separate line item feels misleading and left a bad impression.
With so many excellent restaurants in the area, it’s hard to justify the cost here given the mediocre food and noisy atmosphere. Unfortunately, The Lobster Shop doesn’t offer the quality dining experience its price point suggests.
Talia was a wonderful server!
Good food. Beautiful setting. Phenomenal service.
The view of Mt Rainer brought us in, but the food will guarantee a revisit.

I took my girlfriend and mom for my mom's birthday recently. We all had visited for happy hour within the last year but none of us had dinner at the location for several years. Leah was our server and she took care of all our needs from beginning to end. In fact she went above and beyond to make our dining experience the best it could be. Two of us had lobster tails and one had the lobster risotto. All of the food was INCREDIBLE! This place has the best lobster around and coupled with the staff and ambiance it remains one of our favorite places to dine for Special Occasions. It's certainly not inexpensive to dine here but some experiences are worth every cent!
The location is absolutely beautiful, as it always has been. The service was warm and attentive, and I was pleasantly surprised by the lower-than-expected prices. That said, I would've gladly paid more for the level of quality I was hoping for. Unfortunately, the dishes were overly salty and lacked the freshness I expected. On the bright side, the friendly staff and well-made drinks definitely helped improve the overall experience.
Our server was absolutely delightful and attentive. Food was very good. The only blip was the bus person clearing things off our table before we'd finished with them--more than once. We had to ask him to return utinsels and napkins (bring us new ones) more than once. A little more training is needed. All in all, it was a great evening
Amazing! The food was delicious! Everything was great! I would have love to enjoy dessert.
I went here with a group of friends. The food was delicious, our server was great and we had a lovely time.
