Amazing tea selection. Also has local art on display. A really unique place, highly recommend
Great place for me to pontificate about the relentless spread of imperialism and neo-feudalism while on an edible; forgetting which tea I wanted in the process
have not been able to go in in person since i moved out of the area a few years ago, but this was one of my favorite places when i lived in tacoma. i still order my favorite teas from here whenever i run out, and the shipping service is exceptional! always comes quickly and very reliable. hope to be back in the area again someday soon to get some hairy crab oolong in person
I had a perfect time. Owner was very welcoming and the place was really wonderful.
My significant other and I stopped in for the first time today and we were not expecting the very relaxed environment, got really good recommendations and service from all the workers. We love every tea that we got
Unique spot with a variety of teas for purchase. I liked the wide variety of flavours available, special sugar, tea pots & cups! Would have liked to have a unique tea pouring experience though. Not sure if one has to specially request it...🤷...as there were customers that received such an experience. Anyway, it was nice to discover this special corner of Tacoma!
They were not brewing tea on my visit because they said they did not have imported water and did not trust Tacoma water as it smells chlorinated. Disappointed.
good selections and kind staff
new location: art work
The blends of teas are flavorful and enjoyable. I especially liked the blends in the medicinal teas
You won't find a better tea shop in North America. Wide selection, outstanding quality.

Such an amazing experience every time I've visited this shop. The owner is full of exciting stories and conversations, and the staff are well versed on their knowledge of tea. I've called this place home for 10 years. Highly recommend!
Really cool place and tea is great! They just moved locations so I was able to get a free tea package with my purchase! They have art events also!
Huge tea selection. The person running the store knew exactly what I was looking for based on my admittedly vague description and was super helpful. So far I’ve tried the earl grey and red flower blend and it’s super lovely!
I went to the Google location and I arrived at Tacoma School of Arts. I parked on Court C st behind the stamp place, but I cannot find you guys. Need some help.. also new to tacoma.
Dropped in here just to look, ended up with some tea and tea wares. As someone just getting into tea, I appreciated that the owner took his time talking about the different kinds of teas, how to brew and such. Will def be going back soon.
