I love the vibe of this place. The decor and atmosphere is on point. I love the old typewriters and French music.
I admit, I expected the menu to be a little more interesting. And I missed having the option of a paper menu.
But the Rueben my hubs ordered was delicious.
I want to go back for brunch.
Very nice experience with my wife last night. There have been several restaurants in this spot, and I hope this one makes it. Nice decorating and appropriate lighting. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Food was very good; pork belly rub was a very nice starter, with a delicious glazing. Wife had fried chicken with nice, crispy fries that she loved, and I had the smashburger, with a tangy sauce that was a cut above. We were seated near the big glass garage doors...
The food is hit or miss. Asked the waitress what was good and she recommended the The ranchero and described it as “huevos rancheros” like the Mexican dish. But it was just a quesadilla. The banana bread pudding was also very dry, nothing pudding about it. Slightly disappointed. I would give it another chance because the service was friendly and the restaurant had a very pleasant atmosphere.
