Mexico Magico Restaurant & Cantina

Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience at this restaurant. We were taken there as part of a free shopping tour offered by a local resort and were given a 200 pesos voucher. I ordered the premium beef with a salad (350$)and it was terrible. The rice and beef arrived cold, so I asked if it could be reheated. They put my plate in the microwave, INCLUDING THE SALAD. I was mortified. Who eats microwaved salad??? Nobody. I ate a few pieces of beef ( gross and salty btw) and left the plate.

Waiter came back and I complained. She apologized and offered a new meal, free of charge, which I declined because I had no more appetite after this mess. They asked that I only pay for the bottle of water (4$ USD).

I appreciate that the staff tried to accomodate me in the end but in my opinion this restaurant lacks quality so I cannot recommend this place.

The owner is nice and the service is very fast - but the food just isn't very good, unfortunately. Chicken was dry, mole sauce was lacking flavor, and even the street tacos were disappointing.

Loved this restaurant within walking distance of the Murano hotel we stayed at. Best Mexican food we have found so far since we've been in Washington for 2 years! Margaritas were ok, but nothing like the ones we had when we lived in Texas!

The staff are friendly and focused.
The salsa verde and Roja are lovely!
I wanted to like this very much but the burrito the owner recommended had old dried chicken in it, and it was not very tasty
I hope this survives in this cutthroat market of businesses

Hands down some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The Guacamole was divine. The street tacos made a perfectly tasty meal for two and the margaritas are perfect. Who could ask for more!?

We were visiting from out of town and it was nearly impossible to book somewhere to eat with a party of eight at the last minute. Mexico Mágico was able to accommodate and their food was delicious!

Very fresh warm chips greeted us accompanied by green and red salsa, also tasty and fresh. We usually avoid the green salsa because it’s too heavy or spicy - this one was great, just the right amount of heat and a crisp citrusy overtone.
Our server was friendly, happy and attentive even though she had many tables.
We shared the molcajete. It was plenty for us this evening as it came with rice, beans and tortillas. We choose corn tortillas hoping for fresh and these were exceedingly fresh (for Norteamericanos) and locally sourced.

Seniors get a whopping 30% discount from 3pm to closing.
