Dec 7, the restaurant is closed for renovations I don't know when they will open again.
Was hoping for some good dim sum. It wasn’t. The bao was 99% dough no meat and it was undercooked. The waitress was by herself and literally was running between tables and booths. FOR EVERY SINGLE PERSON THERE!The atmosphere was the equivalent of a run down night club.

Food was very good, service was excellent, phoned in my order after asking about certain menu items, person on the line was helpful, courteous, friendly. It's located in kind of a seedy part of town, but it was worth the effort.

They have reported a planned closure at the end of the month, with no date for reopening. Absolutely lovely people and service. Good was familiar and comforting.

Best Chinese food I had in Tacoma/Lakewood area. Authentic food quality and taste. Waiting time is reasonable. Customer service is above and beyond. I went there with my wife late last night, half hour before closing and they were very welcoming and didn’t mind us to sit down. We loved it a lot and planned to come back. Sadly, the owner told us they are shutting down for good at the end of this month— very disappointing to lose such a good place!

I looked all over trying to find some egg foo young. This was the nastiest food I have ever had. The gravy was nothing but a bowl of Greece it was so gross. When I called them they said that's how I was supposed to be oh wow... I would not recommend this to my worst enemy..

AUTHENTIC. I think I was one of two white people in the whole place. Everyone else appeared (and sounded) Chinese. The mapo tofu was spot on. They have dishes like beef tendon that you won't find at an Americanized Chinese restaurant.
Do not be put off by the appearance. Yes, it's a bit run down (plywood over one window, the original main entrance is gated off, so you go in through a side door now). This place used to be grand, now it's OK. I'm not from Tacoma, but I'd be astonished if there was another restaurant with better, more authentic cuisine in town.

Came in for a take out order, they are so friendly, sat me at a table and served me tea while I waited. So nice.

This place is outstanding! The food, especially when you order the dim sum from the menu, is the best around and even rivals what you get in Seattle ID.
The price is more affordable than many places in the region, and the portion size is bigger.
I recommend this place to you, reader. Be sure to say hi to Jason, and give him my regards. ?

We were hesitant about this place at first as we drove by. It looked like a hotel converted into a restaurant. But the authentic Chinese food surprised my family, it was very well done. Glad we picked this place to try.
