Just heard today this place is closing. Mixed feelings about it. Always wanted to like it and it is in a very convenient location for me. But it's a coffee shop and alas, they couldn't make a cappuccino if their life depended on it. Were always convinced, tho, that a latte with a thin sheen of foam sufficed. And argued with me about it. Pretty ridiculous to be honest. Clearly never made customer service a priority. If they decide to reopen something in the future, I'd strongly recommend a course in customer service and lol also some industry/barista training? Might help them stay afloat. I mean, they really should be able to produce one of the most commonly ordered coffee drinks in the world. Anyhow. I avoided whenever possible due to lazy, rude and incompetent service. Hopefully something better pops up in its place.

Not a fan. Came here for a coffee and do some work. Busy spot during the day... and that's great for them, and that has been my only positive experience here. They have beer! So I have come in to grab a quick beer while waiting on a pizza across the street many times. First attempt I was told they were closing. 8:15pm... clearly states 9pm on the door. All the while the woman in front of me got a beer for her and her friend! Guess they just don't like me. Fast forward a month. Grabbing a pie and thought I'd have a beer while I waited. Sat at the bar... completely ignored. Went next door to Farrellis. Stupid me... came back again because I don't care for Farrellis. Actually got served. By some pretentious little puke that couldn't even say hello! Actually looked at his f****** watch when I ordered a beer at 8:30 when you are open until 9 . No interaction with me. I'm in the biz so to speak so I'm always cheery and overly polite to fellow food service workers. Not a damn word from him! And at almost $8 for a pint? Thanks but no thanks. I'm writing this in there spot at 8:50 and I keep getting mean mugged from the hipster working with this much beer as I'm leaving. Steer clear

After visiting some other coffee shops I find this one to be really disappointing. Limited coffee selection, my barista didn't know how to make a latte "skinny". Okay... the latte is super sweet, don't taste any coffee. My wife ordered a hot chocolate, she found several hairs chillin on top. Dope. Also, it's 58 degrees F today and they have the entire garage door open. It's freezing, everyone has their jackets and hoodies on. One girl is shivering into her scarf. Subsequent to the wide open wall (not just a door), there are flies everywhere. Gross. The toilet in the big stall is currently full and disgusting. The food is microwave food. Boo. And yes, the place is super echoey so it gets loud when it's busy. There's plenty of better places, but this one is open until 9. I'll give them that. Edit: this review was saved as a draft from yesterday. Still accurate.

Cool little coffee shop. In a good location. They have a good drink and pastry selection. Good place to get some work done. They have a decent amount of power outlets. They also do open mic and had some live music when I went (around 7pm on a Saturday).

Hands down one of the loudest coffee shops I've ever been in. Seems that everything just echoes. My coffee was pretty blah. I got a breakfast taco(which was maybe 2 bites) and the vegan coffee cake. The girl just threw it on a plate - didn't warm it up or give me a fork to eat it with. The taco was in tinfoil out of some "food heater" so who knows when the food was actually made. Also pricey. For those couple of things my total was like $15. I could have had a sit down breakfast for that price.

I'm not entirely sure how people work here all day. It's a nice place and I'd go hang out here, but I wouldn't recommend it for a business meeting or longer term working. The coffee was good. I ordered what I thought was a blueberry scone, but I got some other berry- maybe cranberry? Anyway, it was good. All the businesses in the building share a bathroom, but that seemed to work well. There's two hour parking behind the building and street parking was easy to find on a weekday morning.

One of my favorite coffee shops in the area! Street parking is available with limited parking lot spaces around the corner. There are two entrances as this is a corner location. The decor is cute with plenty of seating with a combination of chairs, high stools, and small furniture. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Local businesses and events are supported by them as well. They also have their own syrups and a good selection of sugar free options. Your lattes will come with the cute foam design on top for those who enjoy the little things. In the evenings on the week days, there will be local open mic too. Aside from service coffee, they serve wine and limited beer and some pastries. Their restrooms are connected in a hallway with other businesses in the same building. They are fairly clean! There's also a point system for every time you purchase something. I believe after your tenth visit, you get a discount or free coffee. One or the other. Overall, it's a really groovy place with positive vibes and yummy coffee. My personal favorite is the matcha latte. If you're in the area, come check it out.

Great atmosphere, excellent customer service, and a delicious menu to choose from.

I absolutely adore this coffee shop. It is probably my favorite in the area. Their coffee is consistently delicious. Some of the other coffee shops I have tried in the area can be hit or miss, but this place is always great. I usually order the soy caramel latte. It is my favorite! There is a cute couch to sit on and also outdoor seating. You can bring animals, so grab your laptop, fur babies, and a book to check out this place! It won't disappoint.

My favorite coffee in Tacoma! Super smooth. No acidic taste like Dillanos or Starbucks. It’s seriously the best!

A cozy little spot where you can relax and get a good cup of coffee. They are really great at promoting local products to make their coffee. The staff there are super friendly and very helpful. The parking is mostly street parking but overall not too bad to find a spot unless you are in the peak hours. Stop by and check it out if you haven't already.

The service was mediocre at best and the product was awful & overpriced. I’m enthusiastic about craft coffee—when it’s done right.

Amazing coffee from a bunch of different coffee roasters. They don't roast their own coffee but that selection is impeccable! Baristas know how to pull a shot and make good espresso drinks. Highly recommend! Tacoma's coffee game is better than Seattle. Cheers!

Over poured macchiato in a strange glass. Flavor good. Nice location. Please buy some italian espresso cups and pour it shorter. Less milk and foam.

L O C A T I O N On the corner of Sixth Avenue and South Union Avenue in the same building as Asia Nail Salon and a pizza restaurant. There is a parking lot if you swing around the corner but I'm not sure if cafe patrons can park there. Either way, there's street parking. F O O D + D R I N K //Grilled Cheese// ($3) Sandwich that was toasted/grilled to perfection and the cheese was gooey and delicious. I wish I had some tomato soup to dunk it in. I loved how buttery and crispy the bread was. This is a solid grilled cheese and the price is great! //White Pumpkin Latte// ($4 small) Maybe my taste buds were off on this particular day, but the coffee didn't taste like pumpkin and it was a little burnt. I couldn't finish it because of how off it tasted. I could've ask the barista to make me something else but it was getting late and I was already settled into my spot. I had great expectations of this flavor because it's fall and yada yada fall stuff. I wouldn't order this drink again. S E R V I C E The baristas here are friendly and chill. You go up to the counter order your drink and pay. They announce the drink when it's done and you go up to fetch it. O V E R A L L Even though the latte was a miss I would still come back and try their other offerings. I'd probably try the chai on my next visit because I love a good sweet chai. The grilled cheese is to die for and the price is friendly on my wallet. I love how this place has a good amount of seating and tables. They even have seats outside too! The music does get a little loud from time to time, but a pair of good headphones can solve that. This cafe does share a restroom area with a couple other establishments and it's pretty clean. Can't wait to come back!
