Tasty ramen and mochi ice cream. Very accommodating, lots of fun art to look at, quiet but not too quiet, and friendly staff.
Ramen is very customizable and there's a decent selection of broths to choose from.
My kiddo, an absolute picky eater and anime lover was really excited to try a simple chicken flavored ramen.
In the words of my 9 year old... "This is the best ramen I've ever had!" and "This is the the best mochi I've ever had!"
*Disclosure I started to dig in before I remembered to take a picture š
Kid-friendliness: As a mom of two I always stress going out to restaurants. The restaurant was very accommodating and their build your own ramen is a great choice for picky eaters.
Our server was very friendly and did extra to accommodate my young ones.
Our waitress offered highchairs, straws for my youngest, an extra bowl for baby, and even grabbed a few pieces of seaweed to make my kiddos experience with their first restaurant ramen the way they imagined it.

Food was A+. We went on a Saturday evening, it was busy but we got a table for four with no wait. This is not a bad thing, but the entire staff whom we interacted with, save the barkeep who seated us and made drinks, acted like angsty and edgy teenagers. Multiple were actually teenagers, but some looked like they were pushing 30 and still acting as though they were too cool to drool. Drama kids probably hang out here a lot. Again, not necessarily a bad thing, just not the most inviting atmosphere for typical hunks.

I used to enjoy my visits there and the staff used to be friendly. But now whenever I come in there, I don't feel welcome and the woman who always serves me seems to always have a bad attitude and takes a long time to take my order and serve it to me. I have not gone back since my last visit.

This place was great. The food had a really spice and zing to it and I also thought the service was extremely well done. The people here actually seem happy to work here. All the tables have scenes from different manga and are very well decorated and designed. Overall 10/10

I've actually been a customer for several years but decided to write this review based on my Uber Eats experience.
I ordered the Spicy Garlic Miso Ramen with extra aji-tama and additional dumplings since I was sharing with my husband. We also ordered the side salad. While the food was very delicious, a note that I left on my order was that we wanted 2 pairs of chopsticks at pickup. Sometimes I feel a bit cheeky and write in, "Please pretty please with sugar on top?", a vestige of concilliatoryness from my childhood. I don't know many people who say this, but I hear it from time to time in the classroom from my students. Nonetheless, when I went to pick up my food, there was a little pot of sugar added to my order and it was the most hilarious, delightful thing that I experienced that day. Glad to see that Moshi Moshi complied with my order request, AND it was done in such an innocent, reflective way.
Additional notes: if dining in, they will do inspired, non-alcoholic mocktails if you ask, and if you like spicy, always ask for the chili bomb.

This was the first time that I went in here for lunch. I had the Japanese curry with the chicken. I was very very disappointed. The chicken was freed not breast of chicken witch I assumed, and it was dried out. There was very little Curry on the meal. And it just was not very good. I made a comment to the server and told her that I didn't realize the chicken was fried and then it wasn't very good but she didn't really make much comment. Anyway, I will not be going back

Moshi Moshi is a great Tacoma bar and restaurant. Went in on a whim and the atmosphere was on point and the food/drinks were great. Price point is very fair for all of the above, relative to portion sizes, and I will definitely be back. Sat at the bar and talked with the bartenders and a couple other folks. Verbatim from the two next barstools āthis place has the best vibes of any bar in the areaā and the person in the next seat said āI always feel safe and welcome when I come here aloneā. Also felt like a good safe spot for LGBTQ folx and once again, food was good good good.

I had shio chicken ramen, it was sooo heavy on the bonito seasoning it was just pure salt. I had to ask the waitress for a cup of hot water to dilute it a bit. My ramen noodles were also undercooked, they still held their shape when you lift it. My partner had tonkotsu which was better. I think that's probably THE ramen to order. The waitress also called the ramen tonkatsu which actually means deep fried pork cutlet. Overall disappointing.

I enjoyed the food a lot! We went on a busy Friday night and there were no tables available at that moment so we decided to take the option to sit at the bar. I was worried at the beginning that we would get overlooked at the bar in terms of service, thinking that the drinks would take priority, but that was not the case. The bartender was very nice and attentive and provided us with good service. The curry ramen with gluten free noodles was excellent and hit the spot on a rainy December night. My husband really enjoyed the Impossi-bao and gyoza. The Citrus Yuzu with Mint was some of the best mochi that I have had and my husband really enjoyed the chocolate habanero mochi as well. All in all, I can see why this place is busy on a rainy winter night, it's good food. I will try to make a reservation the next time that we stop by so I can try to get a table and be more cozy and happy while eating ramen. Thank you!
