Best Philly I've ever had! And also best seasoned crinkle fries ever. The food is amazing and the staff is even better. I give it a 6 star!!!

Food not good not sure what the hype. I ordered a mushroom Philly half with lettuce meaning on top. It was acidic from being burned and lettuce was chopped in to the sandwich which is just nasty. Ordered another steak Philly same burned and the Italian hoagie and cheese fries. In this economy if people are spending their money it’s needs to be good.

Disclaimer - I didn’t eat all day and I was starving, but…. That was better than a Philly from Philly. 5 stars and 10/10 recommend. You aren’t eating here for the ambiance. It is 100% a “hole in the wall,” but they make a damn good hoagie.

Very tasty sandwiches, and a good size - you can easily split between two people and it’s plenty of food (if you’re willing to share…it’s so good you might not want to). Definitely a hidden gem.
This place is very warm and welcoming. I could feel the family atmosphere being greeted by everyone. The meat is very well seasoned. My cheesesteak is juicy and delicious. They even have real wiz instead of nacho cheese. I will be back for a slice of home.

Definitely a hole in the wall that needs checking out. Tripping in from Colorado and would recommend to anyone. Great food, friendly service. Large portions, tender meat, well seasoned fries. Tore through my Philly like a scene out of Jurassic park.

I was born and raised in Philly and pretty much gave up on there even being a good cheesesteak and hoagie shop opening in the Tacoma area. I read about My Philly while doing a google search one day and am pleased to say it lives up to the hype. The proprietors of this shop have to be from Philly. They clearly know what they’re doing. We ordered the original cheesesteak, the cheesesteak hoagie, and the Italian hoagie. They were all excellent. Fries were solid, too. Very impressed. Neighborhood is a little sketch but whattya gonna do? Hats off for getting the rolls right which in my opinion is the hardest thing to pull off around here.
