When I arrived there were 3 employees in the front and not one of them said hello or even gave a smile after I greeted them.
All of the salmon was farmed which was a huge disappointment.
The whole environment was unwelcoming.
My child asked about what something specific was in a case and one of the employees responded rudely that it’s frozen which is not what he inquired about.
I purchased catfish and some smoked salmon. The salmon was really sweet. I’ve yet to try the catfish.
The whole energy of the place was off and the employees are ridiculously unpleasant.
I would not recommend to anyone nor will I return.

This is my favorite place to purchase fish!! Dec 5, 2024, at 3:30pm, the Tacoma location, purchased a box of cat fish. I saw the box being wet. Laura, who made the sale, assured me, after me questioning the wet box and attempt to open it, she, Laura closed it immediately saying it had not been opened. I purchased the case of cat fish. When I got home I noticed that I purchased unfrozen catfish and I was very disappointed because I should have checked it out prior to purchase! It wasn't the best quality of fish and I had no.room

It's very clean but the fillets I bought had tons of bones and it was very bitter which means that the butcher popped the stomach sack and the digestive juices ran into the flash I will not be returned to this place on top of their price all I can say is step your quality up

Best place to buy fish, they are open all week & Saturday to buy fish, locals can come buy and they also do wholesale. If you do special request for wild harvested mushrooms they sell that too and also frozen huckleberries year round

Fish fresh off the boat ( or airplane) from Alaska, weathervane scallops that are dry, not saline injected like the grocery stores do.
Everything seemed fresh. Bought cod, halibut, shrimp and smoked salmon. Prices were fair.

I just left market and when I tell you they have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE on ? that a understatement ! I ordered 5 whole catfish, there was only 4 in the case, so an older woman told that very nasty young man to go get a box from the back, when he came back it was fillets, I said “I am sorry but I wanted whole catfish” He got nasty, snatched the fish off the scales gave me a nasty look and stormed to the back! As he was storming off I apologized again! He came back with my fish threw them in a plastic back without the paper, wrong me up without saying anything or asking did I need anything else, I was going to get shrimp. He just told me the total amount but never showed me what he was ringing up or the price and the register was facing him. I asked “Can you show me why you are charging me for? He very very VERY nasty said “FOR THE FISH AMD CANDY!” I asked to can you show me the weight and price. He turned the register around and said nothing else to me and instead started talking to another customer who didn’t purchase anything! I paid and said I hope you two have a great day! The NEVER said anything else! We will NOT BE BACK!!!!!!!
