There are people in my life that consider the Odd Otter their happy place. We finally went (prior to their recent reopening). We were immediately underwhelmed by the woman behind the counter at the bar. There were only a couple people there when we came in - it was early in the evening. She had a book with her. I think she looked up but I'm not sure. We sat for a minute then went up to order. She said hi after we did. She wasn't the least bit friendly. People came in after us, they had the same unenthusistic exchange with her when they ordered. But, I had one of their specialty beers and it was the first time in my 5 decades that I liked a beer. It was also the first time I finished a beer. So, there's that!! I really wanted to like the place and I want them to succeed. I hope it's not the same. A smile and hello shouldn't be too much effort for anyone.

We love love love the Odd Otter! Aside from their freaking cute logo they have, the beer selection is pretty dang good.
They have seasonal beers along with just a legit rotating selection. The staff is always so nice and helpful and the actual place is just really clean and nice and welcoming.

I got a flight of their five IPAs on tap. Three of the five were pretty much undrinkable. I don’t know if I was charged correctly, I didn’t think too much about it until I left because I bought my friend a beer too, but I was charged $20 for the flight of five 4 ounce pours. If I was charged correctly, that’s the most expensive flight I’ve seen in my life.

This is a must go to in Tacoma! If your here for a conference it’s close by and the beer is amazing! We had flights, and they were all amazing, (not lying) I can’t remember the last time I went to a brewery and loved everything I tried! The service was perfect with a fun vibe! I didn’t try the same things my mom did she also loved her flight! (she included seltzers!) Must see/drink!

Stopped in for a beer on a whim after a day at the zoo— good find! They had a wide selection of beer, and live music was about to get started. Our group enjoyed playing one of the many games they have available to loan out.
