I was around the area and decided to stop by for some coffee. My main purpose was to buy some coffee beans. The coffee shop was small but had ample amount of seatings for people to sit and work. They also have a nice display of coffee merch on the counter. As I was about to pay, I looked at the pastry display which looked very appetizing so I decided to get something. Surprisingly they sell Milkvue donuts so I had to grab one to go with my coffee. Overall, a nice place to grab coffee and to people watch. There's plenty of street parking nearby so it wasn't too difficult.

The coffee here is fantastic! (Some of the best in Tacoma.) And the staff are also very friendly and not pretentious. They have wifi, so you can easily work from here for a while.

I like this place, the coffee, and food. What has become really off-putting is the unfriendly attitude of the relatively new gals working there. I'm not going to call out anyone publicly, but the owner should keep an eye out on his staff, including some schedule morning of 12/28/23. Would have been a 5-star review otherwise, but after multiple experiences w/this individual, that's not going to happen.

Service was great! The drinks were strong and the perfect way to start the morning. The area that it's located in is perfect to grab a cookie and a coffee to walk around the cute neighboring area.

Tried a Hot Mocha. I am a more creamer than coffee guy so the Mocha seemed strong to me but I am sure a real coffee person would enjoy. Had a cherry walnut scone also, it was great (from Maccarina bakery). The baristas were very nice. Warm sunny location enjoyed the relaxing break from life.

Had the pleasure of being served by a barista named Bee this morning. A kind person with a lovely demeanor and the coffee was fantastic!

Absolutely in love with this coffee shop. I recently moved to the area and love that I can walk here from my house. It's always packed- and for good reason! The quality is top notch and the baristas are always so friendly. The black sesame hazelnut latte is to die for!

Got to try their seasonal lattes! So delicious. The black sesame paired well w hazelnut. Their pastries are huge and not too sweet!

I love this coffee shop. The baristas are always so friendly and cool to chat with, coffee is reliably good, love their beans. Definitely a favorite here in Tacoma. Decent amount of seating near huge windows that look onto proctor. Nice place to do a little reading/studying (when it's not Saturday during farmers market, it's very busy then as you'd expect).

The vibe in this coffee shop shop was relaxed. Aesthetics or crisp and clean. The barista, Bee, was so kind and courteous. Both barista's gave me a very good description of what the Matcha tea with taste like. The blueberry scone was dress and backed with blueberries!

Great coffee, solid pastry menu, staff always helpful and kind. Fairly busy but worth the wait.

Classically good coffee right here! I needed an afternoon boost and got a cold brew. The flavor was robust and smooth! They know how to do coffee right! Great coffee, great service!

Most of the cafe is made up of large windows, allowing for a beautifully lit space with great interior design. They carry a few brands of baked goods, the ones from Moonrise Bakery are my favorite for sure. If you're reading this, please for the love of god try the Gruyère pull apart! The service has always been great for me. Today Hannah and Laura made me feel at home, and I got both of my drinks and warmed-up pastry within a few minutes of ordering.
