Pasteles Fino’s del Angel - Vegan Cakes, Pastries and Churros

The store is like half vegan! The owner is the sweetest person I've ever met and the food is so good. One of the only places to get vegan palmiers and other puff pastries plus Mexican wedding cookies. (Don't get the macarons though.) I stop by literally every time I drive through Tacoma.

I had the pleasure of trying the Thanksgiving pies from Pasteles Finos del Ángel, they were absolutely amazing! They had vegan & gluten-free pies, it can be hard to find high-quality options, but this bakery delivered perfection 🙌🏼.
They offered a great selection of seasonal pies, including pumpkin, ube ☀️, sweet potato, and classic apple pie—all made with top-notch ingredients.

The pies sold out fast (no surprise, given the quality), so I highly recommend ordering early. On top of the delicious treats, the owner was incredibly gracious, welcoming, and patient—a true delight to interact with.

This bakery is a gem in Tacoma, and I can’t wait to try more of their creations in the future. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for unique and high-quality vegan/gluten-free desserts!

pastries are amazing!!!! also bought a peach filled vegan tres leches cake from them and it was SO DELICIOUS!!! all our guests (both vegan and not vegan) loved it, it was so perfectly balanced and flavored and the texture was so good!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I found this place via Google. I was looking for a birthday dessert for my husband. I quickly noticed how delicious everything looked! And the items are priced to sell. Coming from Seattle, people would easily pay twice the amount for these quality pastries. I highly recommend stopping in for a sweet treat!

We had some danish and apple turnover type of pastries. They were good, but not fresh. There really is a huge amount of vegan variety to choose from. But this might be part of the reason why they did not seem very fresh. There's no way they would be able to bake and sell all that stock each day. I really appreciate the large selection of vegan options, but I think it may be better to have less selection and more freshness. They were friendly.

They had a great selection and the pastries were delicious! They were very nice and gave us free churros too!!

We were very excited to find a place with GF/V options. Bought my son this cupcake yesterday. Sept 19th and by this morning (Sept 20th), it's completely covered in mold. Absolutely horrible product. Especially after spending over four dollars on a single cupcake.

We got amazing vegan cookies and vegan Tres Leches cake for our wedding, highly recommend! They were very helpful in the whole process of getting our cakes and giving us good advice for when we picked up the cakes as well. Muchisimas gracias!

Came by today and all items were terrible. Dry and no flavor at all, all the pastries and donuts were hard. Not fresh or worth the money, was really looking forward to the conchitas but they were not fresh either.

Bought some pastries worth 40 dollars. Mostly all of them were hard and old. The bakery didn't bake them fresh. Would not come again.
