I recently visited Pho 38 and I must say it was a very pleasant experience. The portions are generous, which is perfect if you're really hungry. While the food wasn't spectacular, it definitely met my expectations for a good pho.
The atmosphere is ok and the service was friendly, which is always a plus. If you're looking for a place to satisfy your hunger with a hearty and tasty dish, Pho 38 is a good choice. I would recommend it for those times when you need something comforting!

Got banh mi with pork but it didn't have pate or pickled veg. Just bread pork fresh carrots lettuce mayo meat cucumber cilantro. Plain. Disappointing. I would have just got American ham sandwich if I knew it was like this. That at least has mustard..
I used to come here for pho but may stop bc this really fell short of what I know banh mi to be. Banh mi lovers beware.

Some how a hole in the wall in a strip mall consistently provides some of the best pho around
I really wanted to like this green curry but it tastes nothing like it. Save yourself to go to any other restaurant if you want green Thai curry. It is bitter and spicy, has an unpleasant taste. I’ve had many green curries but this didn’t have the coconut milk, bamboo shoots, eggplant, green peppers and correct spices. The veggies were broccoli, large pieces of onion and carrots. It is not traditional. I apologize but this isn’t how it should be. It has a gravy like texture. Not green but yellow. Maybe there are more options on the menu that are tasty. Again I am sorry but have to be honest as I paid money and couldn’t eat it.
