I had the steak, brisket, & tendon pho. The broth was flavorful & food came out fast. It’s definitely more affordable pho compared to a lot of places these days.

I'm so disappointed. Traveled from Las Vegas to house sit in Tacoma. This place was close, and being from WA originally, I thought it would be fine. No. Got chicken Pho, and I promise they gave me old thin slices of bad sandwich meat. They gentlemen at the counter was not friendly and the unused tables were dirty. They didn't clean up after any guest left. I don't recommend ?

Edit: I went back again yesterday, again pleasant fast experience. But I ordered two Spring Rolls, they missed one of them. I won't be back, I will try Mama's Pho instead. Please check your orders before picking up from there as well.Original Review:I ordered and picked up today. I got Fresh Spring Roll (1 pc), Steak Fat Brisket Tendon Pho, and chicken Banh Mi (Sandwich). I paid a total of $25.35 with tip included. The food was ready when I arrived. I was not there long. The man behind the counter was quiet but pleasant.Signed the receipt, and walked my food back to work.Everything was packaged well for travel. They included all basic sides for the Pho. The paper bag was not quite strong enough, but it did the job, I didn't have to walk far.The flavor: The Pho was hot. They could have added more meat to the order. The overall flavor was decent. Slightly bland until you added all the sides and sauces. It is not mind-blowing Pho, but for the price you pay it was not bad.The Spring Roll was a bit smaller than I am used to but still tasted good. The peanut sauce was not peanut-y enough in my opinion, but was also not terrible. The Banh Mi sandwich was yummy! It was not hard or old bread, but very crusty. I dipped it into the pho broth and it was all delicious together that way too. Edit: Dipping it helped make the bread softer.Summary:The price you pay is what you get. If you need some quick and easy lunch option, this was not bad. If you want higher quality, you may want to seek somewhere else. Definitely mom & pop, family owned small business. I'm glad I could give them a go. I may go back someday for convenience sake. Please add a bit more meat to order and more peanut to sauce.

I hate to give mediocre reviews, but I have been here a few times and my experience has been consistent.Keep in mind this is the cheapest Pho you are likely to find in western Washington. It is the only place I’ve seen pho for under $10 since 2005. So you get what you pay for.I’ve been really disappointed with the amount of meat in the chicken Pho ?Noodles are also usually much more generous.

The atmosphere was lovely and the service was great, but it was hands down the worst Vietnamese food I've had. All of the meat (the pork in the bún bowl, the beef in the pho and the shrimp in the spring roll) tasted rancid and stale. I couldn't finish anything we ordered. At least the portions were small.

This is quite possibly the worst vietnamese food I have ever had. Every piece of vegetable that was in my dish was withered and rusty. The meat that didn't taste rancid tasted like an old refrigerator, you could tell it had been frozen and thawed multiple times. The GRILLED pork was served cold. The spring rolls were old and had some weird grainy consistency to them, along with the veggies being wilted and the pork and shrimp being old and foul tasting. The person serving us was very nice and the place felt relatively clean. I will never be back.

This place made me afraid of trying new restaurants. Horrible portions, subpar flavor. It’s just not worth it. The chicken broccoli had so much flavorless soup, it was chicken water.

Just came here repeat what others have said - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE:My friend and I came in for lunch. For starters, we had to fetch our own menus at the desk. Awhile after we finished eating, the owner told us we needed to “clean up” our table. Confused, we questioned what he meant. He refused to answer and said “it’s my business,” and then said he needed to make space for other customers - the restaurant was EMPTY ? My friend and I became more upset as soon as we realized he was KICKING US OUT FOR NO REASON. They weren’t closing, there was no party coming in… so…?! We wondered if he was being racist, and unfortunately thanks to other reviews, that may have been the case. It was unreal and the worst dining experience we’d collectively experienced. The owner was raging by the time we left, because he couldn’t defend why he wanted us to leave. I would absolutely give negative stars if I could.

Good food,, quiet and spacious place, jazz music, I was lonely as the place was empty during my late lunch, but I would go back again, for sure.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps or issues for trouble.

I stopped in for the first time while I was waiting for a repair. The first red flag was the reluctant greeting. The 2nd was when I asked to dine in a menu was tossed at me. The 3rd- I placed an order but before paying because the server who I now know was the owner from the reviews I’ve read, insisted that I pay prior to receiving my meal & that the charge would include everything but the tip! Never have I been told this. The 4th red flag- I changed my mind from ordering chicken to tofu pho but I wanted to know if the fresh tofu was firm or silken. I was told fresh. At first I thought that maybe I wasn’t communicating properly. So I asked a few times more & was told that if I didn’t know the difference then he didn’t want to serve me. I do know the difference between fried & fresh. I also know fresh can have a stronger flavor. Mind you I’m still at the counter & haven’t yet paid nor had the order been placed. There were 2 customers dining that were now waiting to pay for their meal after eating. The 5th red flag- Selective options for dining in & paying prior to being served. This is not a fast food restaurant but you can order & take away. The reviews were positive but for me they were anything but that. I’m always looking for a new Pho place but this one unfortunately is a definite miss for me.

Only reviewing their banh mi. I need a quick lunch while working in the area so I ordered online and set a pick up time to coincide with my window for lunch. I arrived a minute or two after my time and it was apparent that they hadn’t yet started the ticket. I ended up waiting for about 15 minutes for the food to get fired up which would have been fine if I hadn’t timed the pick up and needed to move along. The food was middling quality, nothing special but on point for about the price. Inexpensive and convenient, don’t be in a rush.

My family has eaten here several times. The owner at the front was his usual reserved, not very hospitable self. But this time when l asked for two soup containers and boxes for sandwiches to go he handed me a drink containing with no lid. I repeated myself a couple times and then he came back from grabbing enough for one person then was rude when l told him again l needed another. The flavor of the pho broth is good but any other busy will give more meat and broth.

I walked in with a smile, and asked the grumpy man behind the counter for a large beef pho, he asked what type of meat, and I said steak, the same thing I order at every pho place. He made me open the menu and say the letter of what I wanted, which I thought was weird. I said I wanted a large taro bubble tea, with tapioca. Once again he made me pull out the menu and point to the exact one, even though he spoke perfect English. Also weird, but ok. He asked me to pay first. Ok, I told him, but I like to leave a tip after the meal. I paid, but didn't tip as I believe a tip should be for the service. My taro bubble tea came out and it was this watery mess with almost no Boba in it.Pho came out with 3 small pieces of meat, and hardly any noodles. I have a very hard time believing this is a large, as the bowl is also very small. The jalapeño came out and it was a weird orange color, not even green. It looked like it had fallen behind the counter and forgotten about before somehow ending up on my plate. They brought my Vietnamese coffee about 10 minutes later. The presumed wife was very nice, and smiled and said thank you, which I thought was refreshing. As for the atmosphere, there is a taxidermy deer on the wall, a dirty fish tank, and the same article from the Tacoma Weekly about the restaurant plastered about at every table from 2010.All in all, I don't see this place being in business for long. Don't waste your money, there are many more deserving places of your business.

Don't go here if you are a minority. The owner sure is nice to white folks, but my friend was treated awful.

Ordered some bahn-mi, wasn't allowed to eat in the restaurant, sandwich was doused in mayo, abysmal cuts of chicken, and hardly any veggies. Don't recommend.
