drenched the fries in salt water sucking all the moisture out of my body. i felt like a slug when you douse them in salt. and their sprite will ripe you a new one. its so expensive i felt like i walked into a jewish restaurant. this tarter sauce is mayonnaise with human dna with a side of cucumber skin. i get better fries better service and less salt at mcdonalds, and why is the canned water 5 dollars. this restaurant is not even in my tax braket why did i even come here.

The food is terrible. I can't believe how bad it is. I've had better food at dive bars that microwave fries from the freezer section at Walmart. Some of this food is inedible. Also incredibly expensive ($15 for a la carte burger? Steamed in a bag? Absurd). The employees and atmosphere are nice enough, this isn't a complaint about them.

they were sold out of the pot roast sandwich so I ordered the boneless wings. they were sold out of the boneless wings, so I ordered the chicken tenders with fries. order took about 30 minutes to prepare. upon receiving my food, they were out of ranch, so I asked for barbecue sauce. they were out of barbecue sauce too. no ketchup for the fries either.
ridiculous to be sold out of almost everything by 12:30pm
five dollar can of water.

Menu is hit or miss. The pot roast sandwich was not bad, while the chicken tenders were mediocre. Wish I had just packed lunches.

Typical Cafe food (more like fast food) and atmosphere, but as others said suuper long wait. We got a bowl of soup and fries with chicken tenders - it took 30 minutes to get. When mentioned to staff was just mer with blank stare... Not very thought out process, I mean it's mostly families with kids that are ordering food (maybe consider that). It's just hard to understand why there's a huge line to order (how difficult can it be to put in an order of fries and bowl of soup) and then the wait for the food is just about the same as any fine dining restaurant that you order a full meal at. But then again they are your only choice after you've bought a annual membership or paid a decent day rate to enter into the zoo, so it's not like our reviews are really going to matter. Welcome to the zoo!

Rude staff, dirty tables, excessively slow. Food was edible but pricey for what it was.

Worst customer service Ever, I will never buy again.
We had an order and the lady did not say that they did not have it, she just went and changed our order. When I went back to talk to them they were pretty rude. She did not apologize about changing our order. I continued to wait and someone else took over with orange hair, did not introduce himself or anything. He was angry and act like he is the one who's upset. I let him know that the order is wrong and that's not what we wanted and he started to convince me that it is the same thing. I was like no it's not.
Instead of saying oh no we made a mistake he started to have an attitude. The other girl standing next to him with blue or purple hair kept laughing at me every time I say something. Over all real bad experience, by the time i am done talking to them my food was cold so we just left.
Don't trust these people.

Decent food and a variety of offerings for a zoo cafe, but the customer service each time we visit is less than average.

Great selection. Prices are not bad for inside the park. Nice to get a hot food break on a chilly day. We had coffee, chili, pretzel and all were good. Employees are really nice. It could’ve been faster so we could get back to it. Purell dispenser was empty.

Ordered a triple espresso and got a single. No effort made to correct, which is ridiculous given how many people were at the counter.

I’ll keep this simple. It’s the only place in the zoo you can get an adult beverage but if you have kids and want to rent a stroller they take your id. The line is long so get your drinks before you take care of your kids. They wouldn’t even call over to check the date. Not mad I couldn’t have a beer but I’m upset that the way it was set up didn’t allow me to. The staff definitely didn’t care and I could feel the smirks as I left.

Not expecting too much for a restaurant in a zoo, but it was actually quite good. Fish and chips was crispy and flavorful. The staff was also friendly and helpful, which is a plus.
