Three stars would probably be a fair rating for others, but a solid 2 star for me. The atmosphere is weird, the seats are uncomfortable, and the food is just meh. It's a relatively expensive spot ($30 pasta?) and the food is very much overpriced for what it is. My small salad and two drinks came out to $75. Parking is also tough, but that's not this restaurant's fault, just fyi.
The menu doesn't list any allergens or dietary restrictions, not even vegetarian dishes, which is kind of embarrassing in 2025. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, probably partly because they keep getting asked questions about whether a given menu item is safe for a given dietsry restriction. The house limoncello is gross, tastes like a gallon of simple syrup had the zest of one lemon sprinkled into it for colour. $14 for an ounce of it? Just serve the store bought stuff at that point, at least it would taste ok. Overall, very underwhelming, and also uncomfortable in more ways than one.
If I wanted to be uncomfortable and underwhelmed, I'd do so at my mom's house for free.

This charming spot exudes a lively ambiance, making it an ideal place to unwind with friends over drinks. The background music is minimal, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere. While the service may be slow during peak hours, the customer service remains fair and attentive.
However, I must express my disappointment with their steak. It was excessively gristle-filled, which could have been an unfortunate coincidence with the particular cut I received. Nevertheless, I’m willing to give them another chance for drinks, but their steak is definitely not on my list of must-try dishes. 😉
Great place for a night out with excellent food and great atmosphere

Service was great, food was ok. The 20% service charge is nuts. Just charge what you need to pay your staff. It cost your server tip money.
Great mix of local ingredients and global inspiration.

Ok, place with decent service. Stopped by for a beer at the bar and was surprised to see they have a mandatory 20% tip. Now I usually tip well but was turned off by this because it should be my decision. I won’t visit here again.
Great time up at the bar for dinner Good 🇺🇸 Red wine on tap needs adjustment > served too warm

Great restaurant, always happy to eat here. Appreciate that the deserts and entrees change every so often.
We went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, but the experience was disappointing. They sat us in the back of the restaurant where there’s absolutely no ambiance — no warmth or atmosphere to make it feel like a celebration. It took a full hour to get our food, even with a one-year-old baby at the table. There were no kid-friendly options and no effort to bring something quickly for the child.
The pasta was too salty and heavy, and one dish was very greasy. They are totally overpriced for what the offer. They also added a 20% service charge — something you don’t mind paying when service is prompt, but not after waiting an hour. The staff was kind when they came. They seemed overwhelmed and doing their best but overall it was a very disappointing experience. We will not be going back.

We love Primo! God is always delicious and the sauce is excellent. Pasta dishes are creative and will dine. The salads are plentiful and the one with roasted veggies is super. The calamari is outstanding. We were disappointed however, that wine by the glass are limited to "draft wines" and there are no Italian wines as an option unless bought by the bottle. Cocktails are lovely.
Delicious cocktails, very good food. Perfect level off happy noise for a date night. Bartender was our server, even tho we didn't sit at the bar--which was a bit strange. 20% automatic surcharge.
My husband & I had a great time at Primo. We walked-in on a Monday night with no reservation and the hostess helped us right away. We chose to sit at the bar and our server Gianni was awesome.
For dinner, we ordered the pork chop (pictured) and also the tagliatelle - both were delicious! We also were impressed with their drinks and dessert.
Highly recommend! :)
