I, unfortunately, didn't get to try the mac, but the TV plate was delicious! Not to mention every dessert was amazing as well. Personal favorites from my meal: taters/gravy, greens, and banana foster cake; honorable mentions: red velvet cookie and that hush puppy was unexpectedly tasty enough to wish I had more than the 1.
This meal was exactly what I was looking for, and I'm glad there was a local spot able to accommodate. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Took my kids here for their first time while we were passing through town (I used to frequent when they were in the U district) and we all three had my favorite -the Jamaican jerk tofu burger - soooo good, teen tested, teen approved! (There is no inside seating so how to rate ambiance?) The owner was pleasant and all my experiences in times past were equally great. You have to try it!

Some of the best Southern food I've ever had. The hush puppies are an absolute must and the side salad is surprisingly good. All around 10 out of 10, would drive down from Seattle just to eat this food again

I am stuffed! We got the Jamaican burger, the bbq burger, gourmet greens, and hush puppies. The food was all absolutely amazing ? The texture of the protein is *chefs kiss! We've missed hush puppies and greens but now we know where to get them in Tacoma. Do not sleep on this place, you need Quickie Too vegan food!

Best vegan mac ‘n’ cheese I've had so far. Yummy BBQ seitan burrito too. That fried "steak" seriously made me forget I was eating vegan. That coating would be delicious with oyster mushrooms for "chicken" tenders. The wait times can be long on some days because they are a family business, but it's worth the wait. I'd recommend maybe ordering online before picking up.

Ordered near the end of the day today. Looks like they discontinued our favorite meal from the menu, the southern comfort. Ordered the TV dinner (no gravy as listed, very dry seitan and mashed potatoes). The "gourmet greens" used to be collared greens, now it's just a dry salad. The chili dog is dry as a bone. Soggy, bland fries. And the mac and yease had a metallic, plastic taste to it, enough to not bother eating. Very disappointing. It has been a month or two since we last ordered and this was extremely disappointing, especially for the price. We used to love the food and ordered all the time. Not sure what happened to this place.
