Oh. My.

I was treated to this spot while passing through the area. Now, I'm trying to find an excuse to go passing through the area again! I, unfortunately, didn't get to try the mac, but the TV plate was delicious! Not to mention every dessert was amazing as well. Personal favorites from my meal: taters/gravy, greens, and banana foster cake; honorable mentions: red velvet cookie and that hush puppy was unexpectedly tasty enough to wish I had more...

Took my kids here for their first time while we were passing through town (I used to frequent when they were in the U district) and we all three had my favorite -the Jamaican jerk tofu burger - soooo good, teen tested, teen approved! (There is no inside seating so how to rate ambiance?) The owner was pleasant and all my experiences in times past were equally great. You have to try it!

I love to visit vegan restaurants when I travel. This one had delicious food and a nice selection. They only do take-out now and you order online. It seemed to take an extraordinarily long time considering I ordered one thing, there was no one else in the parking lot when I picked it up, and they didn't seem to be expecting anyone else.
