Counter service, affordable and a great place to meet with a group or friends. The portions are not big, but the price is low enough that one could reasonably afford to buy more.
Parking: I have always parked on the street and walked maybe half a block. The Tacoma Light Rail line runs right past the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: There are kid friendly menu options and games for kids to play.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's an old building, but the business is all on the first floor. Restrooms are accessible.

My family and i go here for special occasions and date nights, everytime we walk in we are met with smiles and politeness, we never have had to wait very long, the Atmosphere is very calming. The lighting is gental and not too loud, the waffles are fantastic and its one of the few places that have diatery substetutes for those who have allergies to lactose and gluten
Dietary restrictions: The have some selections of gluten free options and a few milk substitutes
Kid-friendliness: They have a section in the café for youngens to play at, my son loves the activity block

I came here to meet a couple of friends and the staff were very friendly but the person got out order wrong... Twice. So a little disappointed but their coffee is superb. Besides the mistakes I would recommend it for a quick bite to eat with a nice hipster vibe.

I was expecting decent food because of the nice environment of the cafe, but the food was extremely unappetizing. I waited about 30 minutes for the avocado chicken sandwich and it was genuinely disgusting. I’m pretty sure they used canned chicken because of the white color, wetness and taste, and it was covered up by the patty of spinach. The sandwich was $11. Service was good and environment was good, but the food is expensive for cheap material.

I purchased a chicken and avocado sandwich which costed me $10. It took about 20 minutes for the sandwich to be brought out to me. I didnt mind until I saw how small and unappealing the sandwiches looked, and then after about three bites I genuinely felt sick to my stomach because of how gross it was. I am in no way a picky eater and I have never decided to not finish a meal until now. The customer service was good, but again the sandwich was just clearly so low quality and the chicken looked like it came straight from a can. I highly recommend only ordering drinks here because the food was genuinely just gross, and especially for ten dollars. I also have never made a review for somewhere but I feel like this place should not be making food and charging it as if it’s quality.

Keyven was extremely rude and had attitude. Upon asking what was something people get a lot he said “whatever people like”. I’m not a big coffee drinker so suggestions are nice. I asked again like if they have any signature drinks or drinks he could recommend and he said “that literally means nothing to me, like we just have basic coffees”. I am a business owner myself and this customer service is very off-putting. I almost wanted to ask if they are rude to every customer like that. Definitely won’t be coming back, food was ok but having that rude encounter just ruined the rest the experience for me.

I have 3 kids and 2 of them are on celiac diets per doctor's orders. This place is phenomenal. They had so many gluten free options, including waffles! My kids were so excited, I've never seen them eat so fast. They have a dedicated GF grill/waffle irons, never swap utensils from regular to GF, and always switch gloves. Truly a safe place to eat for those with celiac.
This cafe also has a little play area which is helpful when you have hungry, squirrelly young kids that can't seem to sit still.
We will definitely be coming back!
