There is no other coffee shop even close to red Elm. They provide a small cup of free coffee to any in every person regardless of life circumstances, money no money, color creed, or anything else that separates ppl. And they do it with compassion and kindness. Hats off and much respect to them.

Went here a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Returned recently and it has really gone down hill. Bacon cheddar waffles were skimpy on the bacon and cheddar, the hot drink I ordered was lukewarm, service seemed pretty annoyed to be there. The atmosphere was also, not very relaxing or particularly clean feeling. Too bad, my kids had asked to come back several times, but the one with me said he wouldn't want to go again.

wait at table for food. straight forward.
bus your own table.
food was good.
bacon cheddar waffle COULD have been a little more done. I found the inside to be pretty doughy still.
wife had a glueten free waffle same thing only worse.. top part was done enough to eat. I know, glueten free anyhting is hard to nail down....
