The reviews on quality and slower service aren't wrong. The staff was slow but very nice. The beef flautas were decent, one was pretty dry and chewy. The rice was pretty tasty. The chicken mole had a nice earthy taste. It wasn't my favorite, but it has a unique flavor. The salsa for the chips was good. The fruit punch for the home made drinks reminded me of eating a jolly rancher. The real appeal is the atmosphere. I haven't been in a Mexican restaurant on the east side that was that thoughtful and interesting for its decor. I'd definitely come for drinks here. The mixed drink I had was weak.

Good food and friendly service. But they messed up my order twice and were late with the food.
The food was great but when we ww were finished and went to pay...the waiter was nowhere to be found.We had to wait for almost 20 minutes before we could pay and leave.

I’ve only been to this place 2x and both times it was great! this last time we went for my daughter’s bday. We had a party of 13 and the service was amazing!! I made reservations the day before just so the staff could prepare. The food was cooked to perfection for everyone, drinks were delicious, customers service was excellent! I just appreciate how friendly and attentive the staff was, I will always come back and recommend!!
We live in the neighborhood and had a real nice Saturday late afternoon meal. Service was great attentive but not aggressively very appreciated. We will be back for their Happy hour 3 to 5. Unfortunately we just missed it. We will happily support our neighborhood family.Thank you much.Richard and Marcella Workman.
