Tried to eat here. The reviews say they have patio seating. As you can see in the picture they have patio seating. But they would not serve us on the patio. He said he only had one waitress. I guess it would be too far for her to walk the food out to the patio. Will never come back after the way he talked to me and my sons. Thought about ordering to go and sitting on their patio and eating it, but the manager really shewed us away with a terrible attitude.

What a treat to dine at the Rosewood Cafe this morning. Perfect neighborhood cafe experience! Delicious food and the coffee is the BEST IN TOWN!

Super slow. Took 40 minutes to receive our food. Bacon was sopped in grease. Staff were nice. Rather expensive. Poor value considering the wait and food quality.

Terrible experience. Under-staffed for the server's skills. The Sesame Chicken Salad is sticky and horribly sweet - beware adding additional goo sauce that they bring like you would want more. The entree salad is also served on a small salad plate so that when you mix, it spills off the sides. A bowl would have been more appropriately plateware. I would have sent it back if someone had bothered to come near my table after serving. I was starving so i cooked choked it down. The positives were the baguette and the wine - the bread is an absolute must with that sweet mess.

I dined in here on my day off, and the waitress Kai was absolutely wonderful. She was so extremely attentive, spunky, and hardworking. Give this girl a raise or a promotion because she’s running this ship like the navy!

Glad we stumbled on this hidden spot in the neighborhood. Not sure how we missed it before. The owner was great, took the time to share some history and made me feel welcome. We grabbed the French dip and chicken pot pie to go, and both were outstanding. Honestly better than expected. Next time my wife and I will definitely sit down and eat inside. The place has a really cool vibe with a lot of character and history on display. Hopefully as word gets out and they get busier, they can keep up the same level of quality and service I experienced.
Of our receipt was right, Kai was very friendly and attentive. Despite being the only server they were super friendly and efficient to everyone there. Food was very fresh and cocktails were yummy

Not sure what the point of a sign that says “please wait to be seated,” when after they made us wait while they finished their conversation they said “have a seat anywhere.” There were 3 tables filled with one leaving as we sat, another left within a couple minutes, and we were the only table. People would come in and Kami would holler across the room where it’s already echoing and noise. We waited an additional 10” waiting for our menus…and did t get our food for a full 35” after we sat. I realize costs are increasing everywhere, but this salad was $15. Really disappointed as I’ve been here before and enjoyed my food and service. This time, Kami, the server, was too busy visiting with another employee who was counting money than to take our order when we were the o my I es in the restaurant.

The service was prompt, professional, and kind 🩷 the owner, Amanda, is an absolute delight. Sweet and bubbly, she took my dietary needs into account with her recommendations and I was NOT disappointed! I ordered a hot Chai latte, a tuna melt, and coleslaw. The veggies were perfectly crisp and seasoned, the chai was mellow, warm and spicy. The tuna melt BLEW. MY. MIND.
Beautifully grilled, warm, salty, and fresh. The cheese was exactly as melty as I wanted it to be and the capers in the tuna were a genius addition.
Can't recommend this place highly enough! Definitely one to revisit 🩷

We came at the tail end of a very busy lunch, and the server, Kai was handling it all! She kept a smile on her face and was charming and helpful, making sure everyone was helped. Food was absolutely delicious, and I'll definitely be back!

I really wanted to like this place but I will never go back after our experience today. Our party of three waited over 20 minutes for water then had to ask someone if we order at the counter because we had waited another 20 minutes for someone to take our order? Our server finally came around to take our order and although she was kind it seemed as if she did not know the menu? Sunrise skillet says eggs your way but was told no to poached eggs ok, no problem pivot to scrambled but then she had to come back to our table twice to let us know they were out of items we ordered. 45 minutes later our order arrived , biscuits and gravy were room temp at best, bacon was burnt to a blackened crisp on my plate and something tasted off with the skillet my son ordered. 2 out of 3 entrees were inedible and we do not want to be “that table” and complain but we were so disappointed and didn’t even box up our uneaten food. I really wished we went to Cooks instead and won’t be recommending the Rosewood to anyone.
