We arrived about 35 minutes before closing, hoping to sit down for dinner, but were told they were only accepting takeout orders for empanadas. That was a bit disappointing, but we decided to go ahead and order the six-empanada deal for $17.99. We chose two beef, two ranchera, and two lechona.
I tried a ranchera while it was still hot, and unfortunately, it was one of the toughest empanadas I’ve ever bitten into. The filling lacked flavor, and it tasted like it had been sitting in the freezer for too long. When we got home, the empanadas were still warm, but my wife struggled to finish even half of one because the texture was rough on the roof of her mouth. She did enjoy the white sauce that came on the side, while I preferred the pink.
Of the three flavors, the lechona was the most underwhelming, even more so than the ranchera. The beef had the best flavor, and dipping it in the sauce helped. I wish we had the chance to try more of their menu, but based on this experience alone, I’m not sure we’ll be back.

The service was slow and a little short with me. I didn't feel like this was a place I would come back to without a good reason. I had the empanadas.

I tried to sit with my service dog, and they took it as a joke, they didn't believe that my dog actually provides me a service, and even showing my certificate, considering it is completely illegal, I still showed it and they made fun of me. me saying “yes, well I have that too” in reality they did not respect my condition, how unethical. My dog is completely trained to be in places like this and there weren't even people there that he could make uncomfortable. Apparently they are not very familiar with what it means to have a service dog. And the terrible attention, mocking my condition, questioning it for God's sake what world they live in. Don't you understand what this could affect a person? APPALLING

The food was excellent, it is a very delicious meal, but the service was HORRIBLE!!
The waitress was very rude, she did not bring us the coffees we had ordered since we arrived, she never offered us drinks to accompany the meals, we had to take them on our own, they took a long time with the dishes and unlike the attention when the owner is there, He is very friendly, when we went to pay they were very rude.
The waitress's attitude when ordering something made us feel very uncomfortable.
The food is really very delicious but because of the attention we will not return to the place.
Many thanks to Mr. for the previous times we went and he treated us so well, but the current staff leaves a lot to say...

Stopped here for lunch not sure what to expect and am glad I did! First time trying Columbian food and it's delicious - highly recommended. It was quiet as I was there late for lunch, we were greeted and seated immediately. Fortunately, my coworker speaks Spanish, so she was able to ask a few questions about the options. I ended up with pollo patacones that were delicious - shredded chicken on fried plantain "shells" served with a yummy cilantro-based sauce and fresh sliced avocado. They have yummy arepas and sell empanadas and a few other items bagged and frozen to cook at home. Prices were very reasonable - $30 for two people, we both took home half our food for another meal. Will absolutely be back.
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free empanadas.
Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome.
