I'd worked a little overtime at the hospital, and didn't want to cook. Hubby wanted Gyros and I wanted Mexican. Adela's had birria tacos on the menu, so I was down with that! Also got two pork tamales, and a Mango margarita. Thought I'd have leftovers. NOT! I ate both dishes, minus the garnishes and a bite or two for my hubby. The birria tacos were fantastic! The consomme really put that dish over the top. Thank you Adela's for a lovely dinner and drink for this tired RN!!

I could cry. Used to be my favorite and absolute go to in Tacoma for Mexican food. It used to be the best. Came back recently post Covid to try things out. Was really worried about how things have changed since Covid, the Pozole was just as good as I remember it. The nachos on the other hand were kind of disgusting and I had a really upset stomach afterwards.

I came in on Friday night after my train got cancelled for a pick me up. I came in for a lime margarita and some chips and salsa. I am still thinking about their house salsa. It had the perfect texture and amount of heat. I would buy tubs of this salsa for my home in a second. I miss it. Their lime margarita was nice and refreshing, and not too strong. I loved the Tajin rim. I would have gotten a photo but I forgot-it was good. My time here was short, but wonderful. If I didn't have other plans that night, I would have loved to stay and try more food. EASY 5/5. What a hidden jewel! Excellent service, location and a chill place to be.

I don’t recommend buying their tamales, the pork tamales, the meat was in big chunks, and the sauce , it taste like enchilada sauce, in the tamales,, but their tacos were bomb. I just don’t recommend the tamales from there.

If you're tired of Mexican food by Cisco, this is the place you're looking for. The shredded beef on the nachos were amazingly flavorful. The house sauce had a nice little bite to it. The guacamole was out of this world. I'm pretty sure none of this came frozen in a bag. All of it tasted scratch made. Plus they have a bar!

We went specifically for the breakfast burritos after some exercise. My son ordered the ham BB and I ordered the Chorizo BB...I should have ordered the Ham BB. The chorizo BB was a little too liquidy for my taste. If I really had time, I would go to El Sabor on Mildred Street. On a positive note, we loved the venue...definitely nitty gritty tacoma vibes.

Food is excellent. Three of us got different combo plates and one got a veggie burrito. Service was great and owner/cashier super nice. Place is very casual/informal. We found parking right in front but there is also a parking garage across the street.

Good food and a great place to have food and drinks at.-1 star because they advertise and list specials ALL the time, but there’s never a discount.Everywhere else I go a “Special” item is usually discounted. Even just a little bit.Their specials are deceiving to me.Weekday specials = No discountDrink specials = No discountIf not for their not so special specials, I’d be going here all the time.

You have to pick up some tacos on Cinco right? Shoot I'd probably eat them everyday... Anyways, that's exactly what I did and some . Placed an order for takeout and sat at the bar to drink a beer. The music and taps were calling my name, the vibe gave me what I would expect back home in Cali. The señorita who served me was very nice and wiped up my food in no time (let's remember fresh food isn't fast food). Would have stayed for another beer but I had to drive home. Let's just say, I will be coming back. Thank you for the amazing food and atmosphere .
