Went to Le Sel Bistro for a dinner date and it was honestly perfect. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic without feeling stuffy. The food was incredible…everything tasted really fresh and well thought out. We ended up sharing a few things and didn’t have a single dish we didn’t love. The service was friendly and attentive but not overbearing, which made it easy to just relax and enjoy the night. Definitely a great spot for a date night. Would absolutely come back.

Brought a group of friends here for my birthday dinner, I have dined here before with only positive things to say.

This experience was the complete opposite of my previous encounters. The waitress that served us should find a new career. She had an awful attitude, and obviously didn’t care about impressing us since a 20% tip was required in the end (not stated on the menu or website when booking).

My suggestion - take your money elsewhere until the owner decides to take these bad reviews seriously. The energy of the place was much nicer when she served us previously.

We have been here multiple times over the years and have had great times, but last night was some of the worst service we have received anywhere. We sat at our table at 625 and it took until 655 to get our first drink and half of our order in. After the waitress stated they were out of the requested appetizer she ran off before we could substitute. Coming by our table twice in 30 mins without being timely with our drinks was enough for us to get up and cancel our order. I assumed the staffing might be off, but when I told her it was no big deal, you’re probably understaffed and we just can’t wait this long to even get our order done (and first drinks) she stated they were staffed fine and ‘the ticket said we only waited 15 minutes’. This overly flippant attitude was outrageous given their lack of presence in the outdoor section. If this level of service is standard then be warned, it might take you three hours to get through a dinner that’s definitely not worth the hassle.

An upscale breakfast spot with excellent food and outstanding drinks. The atmosphere is beautiful—elegant design, classy décor, and quiet music that creates a relaxed, refined experience. Perfect for a leisurely, elevated breakfast.

Can’t comment on the food, and the atmosphere seemed nice, but our experience with service was not great after our group was turned away because they lost our reservation.

We had a party of six with reservations made online, and Le Sel somehow lost them. When we showed the host screenshots of our original reservation, they refused to honor it and told us we could either go elsewhere or wait over an hour.

On a separate occasion, I called the restaurant to check availability for a specific date. The hostess advised that reservations must be made online, which I understand, but their reservation website does not allow you to easily see available times without checking each timeslot individually.

I asked if she could check on her end to see what timeslots were available so I could then reserve online. She refused, claiming the system might not be up to date. When I explained again that I would still book online, she simply said weekends are usually busy. After asking again, she abruptly said it was probably sold out. When I asked her to please check, she curtly stated it was sold out, without apology. It did not seem like she actually checked and simply didn’t want to help.

Two strikes for this restaurant: a poor reservation system and terrible customer service when inquiring about availability.

This place was very disappointing . We ordered the Brussel sprouts side dish and the sautéed prawns in a special sauce that sounded delicious.
Later the waitress told us that the sauce for the prawn dish wasn’t made. She said the cook could do it in just garlic if we still wanted prawns. We agreed with that.
A few minutes later she came back to our table and said the Brussels sprouts wouldn’t be ready in time and would I like something else. I ordered the arugula salad which included blue cheese and hazelnuts.
The salad had neither and was totally tasteless. The prawns came on a skewer and had no flavor. We expected sautéd in garlic at least. The dessert menu came and the waitress said the cream brûlée wasn’t available, which is what we wanted. Mind you, our reservation was when they first opened for dinner. We were charged full price for everything! I was so upset to spend over $100 for this meal.

I got the Brie in croute there at this location well I don't know if any of you know but brie en croute is supposed to be a thing of the brie cheese and then you take it and wrap it in a pastry dough and then cook it in the oven and top it with like a jam and some other seasonings like maybe balsamic vinegar or some chopped up walnuts and you know things like that.

What they had advertised on their menu was just that but what I received was a block of the brie cheese singly by itself not wrapped in anything and a bunch of these dry hard as rock bread crackers or pieces of dry bread that were terrible because you couldn't even chew them in your mouth without feeling like you were about to choke we ended up feeding it's the dog because it was so disgusting compared to any other Brie en croute I'd ever ordered in my life. How misleading to call it brie en croute but yet it resembled nothing like the true product very disappointing first time here but definitely won't be back.

Unfortunately we weren’t able to eat there because they are so busy on Sundays that reservations are a good idea rather than just showing up and hoping for a table. I can say it was a cute little restaurant, I hope to try it another time soon! Definitely calling first.

2025: after several visits (dinner dates) I am still trying to make it to brunch. Others have told me its a very ‘decadent brunch’!

I absolutely love this bistro food and service is outstanding. Feels a little like grandmas house for the cost but everything else makes up for it. It’s a perfect place for a romantic outing. ❤️

I'm from Louisiana so the vibe was on point, the seating was outside comfy and there were blankets to cover with. My cheese grits came out cold and my husband's entire meal including his onion soup was cold too. It's a bit pricey for the 2meals, and a tea and latte $100 bucks. Probably won't go back again.
