First impression definitely a old building (we love hole in the wall places) we always find it the best food for the best prices.

However this place was very confusing. We walked in and no one greeted, until someone behind the counter said hi and that's it. We sat down for a little bit not knowing what to do. I've been going to this place for 22 years now and in that time I don't think they've updated the flooring, the tables, the furniture or the menu. The people that work there seem to really like working there and that's nice...but the section where they "serve" you your food seems to rarely be open so it's a modified self serve kind of place.
Unfortunately the place is kind of shabby now... What used to be kind of chic is now just worn...
Following another PT appointment, my husband and I were in search of breakfast. On our way to check out another restaurant, we passed Shakabrah and decided to have breakfast there.

The restaurant is in an old building that I think was an auto shop. There is a big garage door to the left of the entrance. Building history always intrigues me.
