I've been coming here from time to time in the decade plus I've lived in Tacoma now. It's always a great shake, the other food is decent but it's just like your basic fair fare type food. The staff was lacking and just ignored us and other costumers, they were too busy bsing with each other and watching what I assume was tiktoks.

Cute and well styled retro themed burger place. Good burger, warm fries, very tasty shake.
Problem comes from the price. My meal was close to 40$. Granted nothings a small portion but that's really high.
Another weird thing is that for a place clearly going for a older style setting, they were playing modern hip hop on the speakers? Seems like an odd choice. Plus, some of the chairs were dirty and there was a hole in the ceiling drywall.
Good food, but the atmosphere needs some work.

The burger was not juicy or flavorful. Honestly- terrible
The chilli dog was great! The tomatoes in the chilli can be chopped up smaller however that personal preference.
Oreo shake was yummy
Truffle fries - I really wanted to like however wow! Just a store bought sauce on top of soggy crinkle fries.
The side sauces - I think it was the umami sauce that was the banger, secret sauce next best. Tartare sauce isn’t bad either
The patio looks awful currently. I thought it was a junkyard until I saw one table out there with a dog. Potential is there for a better patio spot

Everything’s great. Can’t imagine a better smash burger, this one is pretty much textbook. Onion rings are perfect and the Latte shake was one of the best I’ve ever had. Service was quick, customer service was excellent!
