The biscuit sandwiches are delicious, unique, and filling. I loved the atmosphere - they were playing old school Metallica when I was there, and the decor is fun. There was a bit of a line, but it moves pretty fast.

Absolutely fantastic. Great, fun atmosphere and INCREDIBLE food and drinks. We each got a biscuit sandwich and split the biscuit and gravy, also tried the horchata their killer bloody mary. Soooooo happy and full. We were also able to eat outside while listening to their perfect choice of music and then took some delicious slices of cheesecake home- absolutely can't wait to go back!!

Side Piece is FANTASTIC. Since the pandemic, I have been consistently underwhelmed and/or disappointed when I go out to eat…. Often. Nothing in Tacoma has actually blown me away in years. But I went this morning and my boyfriend and I shared the Avocado “toast”, the Fig Jam sandwich, and Latkes. Everything was flawless. The poached eggs and over medium egg were cooked PERFECTLY. The marinated tomatoes on the Avocado dish were to die for. The cheddar-bae biscuits were 5 Star.
Additionally…. Adorable 60’s-70’s decor, great music, and a disco ball party bathroom can’t be wrong.
The only thing getting a bad review here is me, for not going sooner. Thank you Side Piece for the best dining out I’ve had in years.

The hype is REAL! The place is so hipster and Tacoma and nostalgic. I had two biscuit breakfast sandwiches - both truly incredible. The biscuits are huge, tender, and so flavorful. Their menu is eclectic with specials changing each week. The combo of breakfast and cheesecake and housemade horchata is really a match that I could not have anticipated loving. Cheesecakes also rotate flavors and, while expensive at $13 per slice, can easily serve two people. Be prepared for a line on the weekend, relax, enjoy the scenery.

i finally turned 21and ran to this place. i came here for the cheesecake and left with three boxes of food. every single ingredient is touched by the hands of Jesus. the cheesecake? i nearly passed out because it exceeded my expectations. i am writing this review mid-bite. i am sober yet downing this like a starving child. the cooks and other staff are so welcoming. exquisite music and interior design taste.

Food was AMAZING... even taken home & reheated later, it was just as good! Also love the atmosphere... the only reason why I give it 4 stars is because the drink selection isn't much, and what they DID have wasn't cold. My husband & I will definitely return but with our own drinks. Lol.

Love this place, the vibe, decor, people, and food. They offer a great selection of vegetarian (not so much vegan) options: all of these photos are vegan sausage. Thank you for having this option! The avocado on biscuit is one of the best things I've ever had. I'm not a fan of the cheesecakes or the packaging: while the restaurant clearly is dedicated to minimizing plastic waste, the cheesecakes (which are too sweet for me) come in plastic clamshells (even if you're dining in!) and all of the takeout seems to be in those plus plastic bags. Please use paper when possible, since plastic is forever.
