Love love LOVE this place on 6th Ave. Chill vibe with good tunes, good drinks, and good people. The owner, Sam, was behind the bar just showing why Tacoma is such an amazing place to live. Had several drinks that were bartender's choice, and each was amazing. If you are looking for a fun spot for date night or just want to hang out with friends, Side Pony is the place to go

Came here for my birthday and Sam made me feel like the star of the show! You can tell he’s very intentional with the menu and guest experience. Drinks are phenomenal, fun quirky bites to eat too. Definitely will be a regular here!!

Their modified grilled cheese sandwiches are amazing. Great atmosphere and service.(And if you have a good nose, you can still smell the waffle cones from a previous tenant)Make sure to put their sister bar "the mule" on your list to visit as well. Easily just as good.
Great cocktails, I love a house made ginger beer, and prices are reasonable! I love the vibe, and straightforward, kind bartenders. I haven't tried the food. Great addition to 6th Ave.

First of all, Zoe is amazing at handling large groups effortlessly and with a great attitude! I asked her for her favorite 'fancy' cocktail, and it did not disappoint. I also was not expecting such good brisket in this bar, but DAMN. All around an great experience.

This place is garbage. Went in with my girlfriend. A patron who was clearly over served was being obnoxiously loud and harassing the bartender without getting kicked out. Didn’t even get kicked out after he fell on me and hit the groundThe menu has cocktail names w prices next to them but that is not the price you will pay. Apparently this bar pours doubles unless you ask for a single. The price next to the drink name is for a single. You’re ripping people off. That’s not how you do business. Waste of time and money.
