The service food was outstanding enjoyed everything about this restaurant. We have been here a number of times the staff Emily and Bob were outstanding. Will recommend going to anyone who has. Plus, we will be going back.

Fantastic atmosphere, amazing food, and top-notch customer service — 10/10 across the board. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great experience.

One of my favorites place to eat; side dishes could be a little better portion but staff is very friendly

It was very busy the evening we dined in the restaurant. The meal was delicious and service was great! I will return in the future.

Very nice and conveniently located place with lots of free, easy, covered parking. Food was very good and well cooked, especially those tomahawk ribeyes. But some other items were nothing to knock your socks off. Prices were a bit steep but a nice place for special occasions. They even gave us some complimentary birthday desserts. And the manager did come by to check on us during dinner. Didn't get our house salads that we were told came with the steaks. But we ordered enough food to overlook that. Would go back again to try the other menu options. Only 4 stars cause I have very high standards when the bill gets to $800, though some of it was for wine. And the wines were good. 😁

Very nice meal. Steaks were perfect, oysters on the half shell were bright and fresh. Two small things we didn't like, cold butter for rolls that didn't melt. It was a raspberry butter and was delicious if you waited for it to soften enough to spread. Second thing was the serving spoon to serve asparagus, very awkward to serve. Ended up just using my fork. All in all delicious, will be back!

Food was nothing to write home about. Service was not great, forgot to bring my wine order.

Unfortunately, everything was very salty... which is never a good thing. We're a family that likes our salt, but this was too much. We both had steaks which had they been seasoned. Lately would have been pretty good. We couldn't really understand our server due to a language barrier... That makes things a challenge just overall. Great view from the 11th floor, and the hotel that you walk through to get to the restaurant looks very nice. We likely won't come back to the restaurant again. We're a family that likes our salt, but this was too much.

We had the Shigoku oysters, the Tomahawk ribeye and the Caramel creme brulee all of which was so delicious! Our server was awesome!

Fantastic service and views, and i mean the service was extraordinary, they really took care of us. Food was also good, my steak was solid but the piece of beef was not the highest quality and had a sauce, covering the beef flavor. It is fine dining, but the feeling is very casino-like, giving it a little lower end feel.

We have been there several times. Every time we have gone, we've had excellent food and excellent service. There is a bar next to the restaurant and this last time they got a little loud. Normally there isn't an issue with the noise level.

Exceed expectations. Definitely a dinner that will be talked about for a long time. The private room was an awesome touch that pushed this experience over the top. Our party of 10 people each had a wonderful time, and the wait staff were great. Highly recommend.

We have eaten here twice. Both times the restaurant was loud. I asked for a quiet table and ....well ..we were put right next to the kitchen entrance. Could hear " corner"... every 30 seconds or so. We also heard all the chatting going on in the kitchen. That was terrible. Additionally there was a group of 6 or so which I requested not to be seated next to a group of people. The menu prices were ridiculous. We ended up having a wedge salad, lobster bisque, clam chowder and jumbo dungeness crab cake. The crab cake wasn't jumbo at all and way over priced. The clam chowder pretty much was the same as a can of clam chowder from the grocery store, terrible. Now the lobster bisque was good.... Not great ... But it was good. Value for the food....way below expectations. Save your money. Go to dinner at a different steak restaurant in Tacoma somewhere. I'm pretty sure they will all be better than Slahal. Hate to post such a negative review.... But it's an honest one.

The steak and potato was amazing, the shrimp scampi was not what we thought it would be. The flavor is definitely different. I personally would not order it again.
