I used to work here. They fired me for no reason. I followed up with them to ask why and they refused to give me an answer.

After a search online found these people, IMHO, to have quite the questionable track record which made me hesitant to click on the text they sent. After contracting Dr. ER billing at OMC in Port Angeles recently, my first contact with them was a text I received out of the blue. I was hesitant to click as it “smelled” of a scam. Against my better judgment I went ahead. They were sending notice of a bill 8 months after the fact. I had no idea who are these people are? I called HQ and asked, why is your first encounter with patients a questionable text? Why could you not send a letter first with an introduction and then give the option on how i’d like to receive correspondence? She wasn’t that helpful saying that the call was being recorded and someone would hear me eventually. Didn’t know I was being recorded. Seems like they need to rethink their approach. Maybe this would be a tiny step in helping clean up the very questionable presence I found online. Also makes me wonder why/how this company was recently contracted with Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles.

Got a debt collection notice for a service I never received and was never billed to my insurance. Seems to be an ongoing issue.

Received a bill for a appointment that never took place, actually a collection notice. I was diagnosed with colon cancer December 2021, and was referred to 2 separate oncology centers after surgeries and my stay at Allenmore hospital I chose the first clinic I attended and did not meet with Dr. Senthilraj Nadarajah, MD, who is now charging me more than $1000 for once again, a appointment that NEVER took place. Have called and was referred to collection agency, collection agency would not help either. My best advice is to avoid them at all cost, Cancer is hard enough without having to worry about being scammed by our only for profit health system.

Surprise bill from Sound Physicians. A company with a seedy history of fraud. Not sure that what I was billed for actually is justified.

I had the same problems as everyone else with their billing. They really need to go to seminars on how to bill or classes or something. They keep sending me a bill for an er visit for 100% of the cost, but I have great insurance that will pay almost 100% of it, but they keep sending me the bill saying that I don't have coverage, but my HR manager has verified that I do have coverage, so he had to ask my insurance to contact sound physicians to ask sound to bill them properly so they can pay it. This is ridiculous.

I had never heard of this company until I heard from a collection agency saying I owed them $1761.00. I can not get through to them to even discuss this matter and of course the agency is just interested in collecting the money. It is so frustrating. I don’t know what to do.

This business is a scam. We have paid all the medical bills through, Cigna, our ins company. They say we have no outstanding bills and all is covered however Sound Phyiscans has billed us 4 months later with no explanation of what we are being billed for.

This Company is completely incompetent. I don't really even know who they are. They filed a bogus claim on my credit report for $19;00 and I have no idea what it is even for and no idea who this company is or what it was involving. I assume that it was about something to do with a hospital or doctors visit but I was never billed for it and / or it was not billed to my insurance .. The fact that a company would even file a $19.00 bill on someone's credit report without ever having billed a person for it tells you what sort of people they are. You are shameless and i will be filing a dispute with the credit reporting agencies. SHAMELESS and YOU HAVE NO CHARACTER

I, like the other reviews, did not receive a bill in the mail and instead received a text that I had an outstanding bill...this text came 4 months following my ER visit which I had already paid separate lab, radiology, and hospital bills for. They did not run the claim through my insurance which was on file and then stated it would take another 45 days to see if insurance would cover a portion. After already paying close to $1500 for the ER visit...I cannot believe I have to now pay another $1200 for the physician herself. This is highway robbery.

I wish someone from this company would investigate where my payment went for my husband's ED visit in February that they cashed and it cleared 4/24. I did what I was supposed to do when I received the bill in the mail. I sent in the payment and documents requested and it's obvious someone else's account was credited. Because my dead husband did not respond to their phone call, the total bill was sent for collections. They could have mailed a letter first but chose to process it this way. I have not been able to get anyone in this organization to respond and follow through. I have a copy of the check that they cashed. People who go to St Mary's ED are subjected to their questionable billing practices. Beware of this before you choose St Mary's hospital and Sound Physicians Emergency Medicine in Tucson.

Its an all too common practice these days to employ physicians within a private group - like this - with physicians who do not accept any major insurance. How is the average day person who has insurance through his employer supposed to know when they go into an ER that is covered by their insurance that the physician they are seeing doesn't accept ANY insurance. This is why we get surprise 1400$ bills. This company is a sham and should ensure their physicians take insurance. Shame.

Never go here if you don't have the correct insurance. They never told me upon the visit, after showing my insurance card, that I was out of network. This was not found out until after numerous bills came, conversations back and forth with insurance, and also after I was sent to collections. Sound Physicians does not have competent employees in their billing office. The hospital staff may be satisfactory but everyone in billing and insurance is not.

I received a text message that I owe $1400+. Not knowing what it was for since I never received a bill, I immediately looked them up and was able to see what it was for. I immediately called to find out more. They didn't have one of my insurances information. They should have had the information since the hospital has all of my information. I told their representative that how they coded the bill should also be checked, which I know is a common error. I also told him I have never had to pay a medical bill with the insurance I have. After hanging up I did further checking and found they had received a request for my medical records as the reason for denial of payment. Something they apparently never responded to. I am retired and on Social Security and can't afford a $1400 bill. Letting a patient know they have a bill via text messages is very poor business practice .
