This was probably the best burger I have eaten. If you haven’t eaten here, I highly recommend! Also, it’s only “To Go” which we were kinda bummed about. The lady explained the menus and gave us recommendations and was very helpful. It Only took about 10 minutes from the time we placed the order and it was all hot and fresh. Really surprisingly good prices.

My uncle loves this place, and it's easy to see why. The staff are friendly and are willing to actually talk to you as you are there.
The place is also pretty cool as it has wooden accents and a real diner feel. They also got a pretty funny thing Goin on with the name spanky, as the technique they cook the burgers with is called spanking, and they have a bunch of gags about it.
The food was good, juicy, saucy, crisp where it needed to be. Just great

I absolutely love this place !!! The burgers are basically home made and super delicious. My favorite part is the signature spanky sauce, it's like fry sause with pickle and a lil kick. It is a must have! Over all 10/10 one of the best places in Tacoma. Also there is no interior seating rn so plan to order takeout ☺

I have celiac disease, and I am highly sensitive to cross contamination. This is one of the few places I can safely eat in Tacoma. The food is delicious, and I really appreciate that the people there take extra precautions for those of us with celiac disease.
Dietary restrictions: Great place for celiacs to get a burger and fries (dedicated fryer) alond with chicken tenders.
This review is for the servers, not the restaurant or the food. I was gonna move on, but you left me a neg review so I'll clap back. I went there to pick up a delivery, it was ready, and was sitting there at the shelf by the note 10 min. She says she just needs to bag it but she'll finish the other one first so I said OK. Well, she's making milkshake and it's taking more than 5 minutes. I'm rolling my eyes since it only takes 10 seconds max to bag my pick up but instead she's doing other job that's taking longer. I'm pretty sure my pick up was earlier in the order too since it's been sitting for 10 min. So she's not prioritizing right and not working efficiently. 2 people are waiting instead of 1. The other girl comes and asks if I've been helped. I said I'm just waiting for that to get bagged. She says they are understaffed... well you're not understaffed, you just don't know how to work. You don't even have dine in! Hope the owner reads this and train you properly.

Why no dine-in? That boggles my mind. And if you're not going to have dine-in, let the people waiting for their food sit in that seating area that's not being utilized instead of everyone tripping over each other while they wait to get their food and take it home. Very inefficient setup.

Spanky is my go to place and I tell everyone I know about them. They have high quality food, friendly staff and the menu is accessible for those with dietary restrictions. The gluten free chicken strips are my go to. I’ve had a time or two where they were sold out (understandable) but even with my restrictions I was able to get something else on the menu, which isn’t something I can say about other restaurants.
