I was pleasantly surprised at how much of a lovely location this was. I came in to have a cup of coffee with my friend. Good central location to meet. I was pleasantly surprised by how easily it was to find parking. Typically in this area of Tacoma there's nowhere to park. I don't know if it was the time of day that I went, which was around 10:00 a.m. But there were lots of parking spots. I was also very pleased by the atmosphere in there. It was very upbeat and happy. It's a great place to meet somebody to to have a casual conversation. Not so much private conversations but I don't believe that's why we go to coffee shops. Am I right? Flat surfaces so it's very easy to come in and out. If you were on crutches or in a wheelchair. You don't realize how important those things are until you need them. The people who work there were super friendly. They got the coffee done quickly. It wasn't overcrowded or anything. It was such a wonderful experience all around. I will definitely come back again.

This is the most disorganized I’ve seen a bar ran every 3 minutes only one drink is made. 3 baristas running bar… and it takes 20-30 minutes to clear a lobby of 6 customers.

When they choose to not allow you to ADD CREAM or SUGAR to a TOGO COFFEE order via DOOR DASH, and make you drink your coffee black, it ruins the entire coffee experience.

Next time I'm in TACOMA my money will go to the other coffee places where it's 'not a problem' to ask for CREAM and SUGAR.

Reading the other reviews, looks like this store is not known for being customer focused, too bad, I love Starbucks and I hate writing bad reviews.

Why are you letting people in just ordering water and sleeping?
I know Seattle has homeless problem but does Starbucks also have to accommodate this?

Pan handlers are always hanging out in front of business. You can smell them from the other side of the street..

Wasn't willing to exchange food that was ordered on a delivery which was early in the morning... When the bag was sealed ... And when I went to the customers. building front where to deliver it to .. at 500 in the morning.. the bag all the sudden poured out of the bottom and ruined the order.. I was devastated. I always believe in customer service and the customer was understanding, I was displeased that the place wasn't 🫣offering to replace the order even with the return of the bag.😞. I gave the customer a discount for the next order and a free same order the next time they order .. I felt bad and it's the right thing to do!
✌️😊

Was supposed to be open. Got to it there was a handwritten sign saying we will reopen when power comes back on... it WAS on before I even approached the door, and they just shook their head no. Then they turned OFF the lights as I left.

Stopped giving water to the homeless without a purchase. This place doesn't deserve to be open. People need their basic needs and you can't even use the bathroom. Bye starbees!

Always messing up orders and the worker at the counter had no clue what a Java chip Frappuccino was.
