The best pizza I’ve had since I’ve lived in WA hands down. The pepperoni is my go to. Atmosphere is so chill and the staff is the BEST (so good in fact, I’m marrying one of the bartenders). Very family friendly!

Great pizza and good beer, Cider on tap. Small and cozy inside same building as bluebird coffee (who also has amazing coffee)

Beautiful little hidden gem in Tacoma.Parking can be a little hard, and the door easy to miss.Once you get in though, it's a gorgeous little, clean, chic, modern bar and bistro. We tried the Margherita pizza and the Spicy Vegan. Both are on point. Great chew and texture to the crust, and fresh, quality ingredients.

Went here on a whim due to the pictures of the pizza and was surprised how great of a place it is. The woman that helped us was quite apologetic about them running out of the standard dough for the day and explained they only had gluten-free. Despite my usual aversion, I was hungry and was glad I went for it anyways. Great pizza. Period. The cherry on top is a small but great tap list!

This is a really neat bar tucked away in the heart of Tacoma! The service here is very good, and all staff that I have met are extremely nice and helpful. There are plenty of options on tap, and they even have a cooler for cans and bottles! Their pizzas are very gourmet and delicious, too!The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I feel like the price for food is a tad high, but the quality of the pizzas are excellent. It runs about $20+ for a 12" (ish) pie. Don't let this stop you from trying State St though! Definitely worth a date night or friend meet up.

State Street is a great addition to 6th Ave. It offers a nicely curated selection of West coast beers on tap and plenty of additional bottle/can options for diverse tastes.I really enjoyed the pizzas, 12” thin crust with a great array of toping options. The atmosphere is welcoming and mellow; perfect for small groups or solos at the bar!

When I came here my first time I was amazed at how good their pizza was. The second time was ultimately really really disappointing. There was only one other person in the restaurant so they were definitely not busy. To my surprise the entire bottom of both our pizzas was completely burnt. Like black burnt. I wanted to complain but my significant other said not to.
What's good ya'll, so I'd had State St on my radar for a hot minute now I just hadn't had the opportunity to check it out. This is what I gotta say:PIZZA: GOODSERVICE: SLOWPRICE: PNW (lol y'all ready know what that means $$$$$)VIBES: TrillI'd give this place as one of the best spots to grab a slice in tacoma. Ranch is good af too. I would recommend to a friend but tell 'em to be prepared to spend. Hah! Keep it trippy State Street. 5 Stars.

Super chill neighborhood hang. Stopped by for the first time and I really enjoyed it. It’s not a big place (it shares the front of a building with a coffee place) but it was not crowded at 6 pm on a Friday. It is simply but attractively put together and gives off a friendly neighborhood vibe. Wait staff was great and had a good variety of small-batch craft brews and ciders. I had a Scarlett Ale that was well-balanced and delicious and a Margherita Pizza whose sauce was a bit watery but tasty. I will definitely be going back.

This is a decent place with good food. Only obnoxious detail is that they're too hip for paper menus. It's aggravating to come, and have to spend the first several minutes mucking about with your phone. (And god help you if you only have a flip phone.)
