This lil hilltop market totally rocks! What started out last year as a small, cozy little setup has blossomed into something more large, lovely & lively, although still small enough to feel like everything's within shouting reach (just saying, don't actually shout, lol...). It's organized by local small biz OG Muscle (also a vendor!), who can also be reached on social media. The owner, Anthony, is really awesome and goes above-and-beyond serving the local community as a vegan fitness guru and as market organizer. As the title implies, all of the vendors are vegan* and you can find everything from information about local animal sanctuaries, delicious vegan food (the whole spectrum: "cheat" food to healthy treats!), accessories, fitness and snacks. This market is great and welcome to all. You can be vegan or not and everything in between! *some food businesses may be vegetarian but only their vegan options are served at this market. Located on the corner grassy tree lot at the People's Community Center, parking is easy in the nearby lot and streets. First-timers can easily find it if you look for the large parking garage; it's across the street, west. Currently takes place 3 weekend dates during summer months (check social media). 1 past, 1 this weekend & then 1 final one next month. Handicap note: the central seating area is in a ground depression with the vendors along the street-level circular perimeter. Wheelchair/scooters best to stay along the perimeter; other physically disabled may try walking to the seating area alone at their own risk or I'd just ask for help. The whole grass lawn isn't super level.
