I ordered the tteokbokki and halgatteok, and it was delicious! I love the variety in what they serve and all the different delicious things you can get. However the service was definitely questionable?.. it felt slow and sometimes you'd ask for something and they'd make you feel like dumb for asking I don't know. overall service is a bit slow and unprofessional but the food is delicious and I'll definitely be coming back regardless! Super good

My wife is mostly vegetarian, she ordered the cheese and potato dog, but they served her the meat option. When told she was given the wrong order the server argued that she had gotten the order right. I was standing next to her when she placed the order and, agreed that she was given the wrong item. We were told we were wrong, from across the room in front of other customers. We ended up throwing the food away and leaving. This is a reasonably good establishment, and I likely won't be back just because of the way my wife was treated.
After reading other reviews I see this has happened to other regular customers as well.

We were driving in between cities & were looking for a dessert that wouldn't hit our stomachs so hard. T-Town Cafe's desserts are light, enough for your sweet tooth, and delicious! The potato hot dog was amazing. Nice that they were open until 10PM too! Would go back 10/10

I ordered a cheese stick with no sugar and spicy mayo on the side, even tipped, and was give a half and half corn dog with sugar. I don’t eat pork so when I noticed there was a hot dog I told the lady. I mentioned I don’t eat pork and there’s sugar I didn’t order. She told me she can’t make it again and that there’s a price difference. I said I’d pay the difference and she said “no I can’t make again”. I was sad because I love cheese corn dogs and was trying out a new place. I look up and the cheese only difference is 50 cents. I work in customer service myself and thought, she couldn’t just make me a cheese dog? They got my order all wrong and I tipped. I sadly won’t come here again.

The owner & new staff are slow. I’ve been a loyal customer at this spot for years. But today I was randomly disrespected and gaslighted. I ordered my usual drink with two flavors mixed, something I’ve done plenty of times before without issue. Instead, I was given two separate drinks. When I politely explained the mistake, I was met with complete gaslighting from the owner who claimed they “never mix drinks” and basically accused me of lying. Instead of correcting their error over a $7 drink, he doubled down and told me to just “pick one flavor.” Arguing with a loyal customer over something so minor and refusing to own up to their mistake? Insane. Their prices definitely don’t match their stingy portions or the audacity they call customer service. I’m done.

Visited last week and tried the waffle. Very delicious. There was a small wait but it was definitely worth it. I have been craving tansy waffle ever since. I did not find it was too sweet even with all of the added toppings. The fruits were delightful.

Everything was great about this place. Only problem I had was the bathroom didn’t have toilet paper, paper towel to dry your hands or any hand soap. They had toilet seat covers though. Service was great vibe was great food and drinks were great too
