If you want to have a fun night out go to Tacoma Comedy Club on 6th avenue. The service is great, food is pretty good! With all the crazy things going on everywhere, you can relax, laugh, feel safe. The security staff is awesome, I don’t remember his name but he has grey hair and about 6’2. He has a great personality and makes sure people don’t act up. Only thing that isn’t great is the parking, very limited.
Decent bar food and drinks. Reasonably priced. Reasonably priced tickets.
Awesome staff, everything was clean and felt like a well oiled machine. We absolutely loved Ben Brainard and his opener Zach. The only thing that I got confused about is where the front door was because it looked like a restaurant but I look forward to our next visit.
Great venue, reasonably priced food. Not a bad way to spend an evening.
Great place for laughs and food

Fun time, food is ok, drinks are good
So I’m in town for medical reasons so I should have looked at reviews for this place. The guy at the door was nice and polite. The lady who sat me had a bit of an attitude but whatever. The show started and the host jimmy was funny I liked him. And the second comedian was funny as well the third guy had funny points but the black jokes fell flat to me but a large white guy found them hilarious they were not. So for the comedy part it was ok. The food and drink: I was seated for over ten min before I was acknowledged. Tables sat after me were helped first and then I still had to wait. When she finally did ask me for my order I asked for a cherry bomb mimosa which in fact did not taste like cherry and a cinnamon roll. My drink came half way through the second act. And my cinnamon roll came at the beginning of the third set. I wasn’t asked if I wanted another drink until my glass was empty. When my cinnamon roll did arrive it was Luke warm and the icing was cold like it just came out the fridge. After my roll came out the server came and gave me a voucher and free tickets but by then I was over the whole experience. I was so excited to see this show and I was severely disappointed. I’m from out of town and I love exploring and this place let me down. On top of everything they cheat themselves out of better tips because they automatically add 18% and then give shitty service on top of that. I work in the service industry and I understand tips are a big part of how people pay their bills but I will not give my hard earned money to someone who gives garbage service. And on top you already add gratuity even to single parties so giving just good service could get you better tips. I’ll be back to Tacoma for future doctors appointments but I will not be coming back to this club. I gave my voucher and free tickets to hotel staff I hope they have a way better experience than I did.
Good afternoon fun. Yummy food.

Didn’t catch the waitresses names so forgive me. But as far as I saw there was an only a black chick and a white chick tonight. The black chick was super friendly and professional. The white lady had a super nasty attitude. Like I just spat on her for asking a simple question. Thank god the open mics are free shows because I’d honestly be mad if I was served by her after paying for a ticket. My boyfriend said the same thing after separate transactions. I’m all for people prioritizing mental health and accepting bad days on occasion but I think her attitude was unnecessary and there’s plenty of people who’d happily replace her with a better personality. I don’t like reviews like this often but I just feel like I need to address the elephant in the room.
Great good, great drinks, amazing atmosphere! The comedy is great and the service throughout the show is wonderful!
Went to go see chingo bling tonight! Had a great time with my wife. First time at the Tacoma comedy club but won’t be my last. Food was good, tears of laughter were many and the smaller intimate setting was amazing. Sat front row!
Visited on a Thursday for the free stand-up night. The food and drinks were decent, the ambiance was great and the servers were friendly, making it an overall pleasant experience. I will return to see a paid show with a professional comedian soon.
Very well run establishment. Staff is friendly, service is good. We very much enjoyed each of the three comedians. We'll definitely be going back again soon.
