This spot should have a higher rating in my opinion. A lot of shops around Tacoma have baristas that are super hit or miss but the girls here always get it right! And if they don’t they catch it and correct it for you immediately! Definitely my favorite coffee shop and baristas in town<3

The blended espresso drink was great (salted caramel coconut) 5/5, the spiced iced Chai with salted caramel 4/5, the service was nice. The food however was abysmal, I'm just too shy to ask for a refund. Premade sandwich in fridge, I asked for no egg and she removed the cheese, bacon was uncooked and soggy, and her way of heating was to throw on panini press so inside of flat Bagel was dough and wet and outside was hard. Husband also had the maple bacon egg and cheese (so she didn't remove anything) and it was gross. We threw both uneaten sandwiches in the trash and she saw us and didn't even ask about them. Wouldn't get food from there ever!!

The Pros: Cool shop, local art available for purchase, seems to be employing women of various experience in coffee service and training people up which is very cool.

The Con: I did however stop in as a first time customer a couple weeks ago because they have on the signs outside that they do milkshakes. I asked if they could do an espresso milkshake which they confirmed that they could and asked what size I wanted, it was a hot day and I was excited as I've not found a local place recently that still does them so I went with their largest size and it came out to just over $30 pretip for the drink and a breakfast sandwich. Unfortunately, the barista that rang me out was apparently new, over promised under delivered and was told by her senior barista that they could just use ice instead of ice cream and most people wouldn't know the difference.

I didn't want to Karen especially someone new that's working off tips but for the senior barista: your service bar, isn't a full wall and if I'm standing right on the otherside of it I can hear you, it'd have taken you 5 seconds to ask if I was okay with that, I probably would have been since I'd been wanting to try this place out for a while. Considering your price points and that I wasn't a regular just that amount of transparency/honesty is the difference between me feeling good about coming back and me feeling like I wasn't valued.

For the other folks that enjoy a good espresso milkshake, the search continues.

Please don’t advertise yourself as “gluten free” when there’s one option that’s a protein bar, I drove all the way over the bridge for nothing…..my “16 oz” drink was the smallest 16 ox drink I’ve ever seen, and it was 8 dollars. Overpriced. Not worth it. Would not recommend if gluten free….they are playing in our faces. It also took FOREVERRRR

I meant to post this a couple weeks ago, but they're very delicious. Much better than Starbucks, in my opinion. I went there with my best friend because I was going to Brides for a Cause with her (there was a wait at the bridal shop) so she and I stopped here. I have never tasted anything so delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

I had been driving out of my way (the Bonney Lake location is not convenient for most commuters & I live/work here) to visit in the mornings. However when my work schedule shifted to 30 minutes earlier, I would go at 6:30am and almost every morning they weren't open yet (hours are 6:30).

I went today after going to other stands that were more convenient - and honestly a drive-up is so much better in the cold. However, the owner changed the shape of their punches and doesn't honor their punch cards any longer. I had one full & another 3/4 full that are just garbage now.

Honestly a free drink every 10 visits isn't a deal breaker so much as the lack of consistent opening & inconvenient location. Put them all together and it's going to be a pass from me now.

Stopped in on my way to work. Friendly service good coffee. They have some pretty neat stuff inside. I not only bought a coffee but a cute stocking stuffer also. I'll definitely be back the Maui mocha was just what my morning needed!
