The spicy shrimp was absolute ?. It came with so many extra goodies on the side to mix in. Guacamole, sour cream, carrots, bell pepper, onion, jalapeños, and more. There was a friendly atmosphere with the cook having his daughter with him. We live nearby and we will be back.
The food here is so-so but not everything is authentic Mexican food. This is my 3rd time eating here but my most recent experience will definitely be my last. It was the first time I purchased a side of the rice and beans and I was disappointed. The beans tasted canned and the rice was bland. I asked my friend what she thought about the food, and she felt the same about the rice and beans as well. I don't know if the beans are actually canned.. but if not, they need a new...
Same family/company as the one off of 6th & Mildred. Delicious tacos (juicy, marinated meat) and this seems trivial, but the best rice+beans!! Don't know why it took me so long to try, but super happy they are right around the corner!
