I had the privilege of stopping by here after the recent grand opening with new management and it was really cool! The space has an inviting aesthetic; cozy and stylish, with unique touches and an awesome back patio area. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the owner was super cool. You can tell they really care about their guests here. One of my favorite parts was the art on display. They were all from local artists and each piece is for sale! Really gives the whole place a creative vibe and makes it stand out from other spots.
Great food, great atmosphere, and genuinely wonderful people. Definitely a place I look forwarding to visiting again.

Absolutely loved my visit to Backyard Bar & Grill! The bartender nailed it 😎 her killer Mojito was one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly refreshing and just what I needed on a hot day. Sipped it out on the patio and felt instant happiness. Need to beat the heat? Come here. Great service, great vibe. I’ll definitely be back. 🍃🍹☀️

I'm with Global Poker Federation we play poker there two nights a week Tuesdays and Fridays. The owners are so accommodating and friendly. They go out of their way to make sure that everybody is comfortable, fed and keeps the drinks coming. You should really check this place out it's one of the best places that we play poker at.

When I went in, there was only one other person. The owner is super friendly, pretty funny, and shreds on the guitar. But the wings... easily the best I've ever had. They're perfectly crispy, loaded with sauce, and come with carrots and celery on the side.

Came for the 2x/wk poker & came back just for the food delivered by the kind servers - thanks Angie! The pulled pork, smash burger, mac N cheese, draft beers, chili, & smoked brisket are all winners. Our free poker nights on Tues & Thurs will often add 24 people to the crowd - which adds to the fun . . . Many nights have food specials. 3 pork tacos on Tuesdays for $8 - can't beat that anywhere on 6th Ave.
Get the Mac n chz omg sooo good! Also bartenders are some of the best in tacoma. Highly recommend

I've been there a few times with my girlfriend and we love it! I live in Fredrickson but am willing to drive 40 minutes to go there. Now they're also doing trivia nights and it's even better. The back patio are is cozy and comfortable to relax and have a drink in. I feel like I'm at a friend's place having drinks when I'm there. We'll be going again tonight. Oh I almost forgot, the prices of drinks are very reasonable and the service is really good. If I could rate it higher I would. Tonight I'll try thr food for the first time and come review that too.
