Decent place in my opinion, but just seemed oddly expensive. To be fair, I was a tourist and not from the state, but a simple breakfast for 3 people turned out to be $75 with tip… I’m not sure, I was just kind of surprised. Ambiance was nothing crazy cool but certainly clean and decent service.
My soul was happy 😌
Edit:
2 years of coming here and counting! The food was wonderful as always! Pancakes, potatoes, and country eggs benedict, absolutely delicious! The kitchen never disappoints!
I have to say though, the service is absolutely phenomenal!
My server John was absolutely fantastic, not only was he incredibly attentive, but he went above and beyond to make sure that I got everything exactly how I wanted it. He was NEVER pushy, rude, or anything like that. He was incredibly polite, kind, and respectful.
And this service was given to all the tables in his section. The fact that he was giving kind exemplary service to everyone without a single slip up is absolutely commendable. He even took the time to take a photo for a table as a favor, out of the kindness of his heart.
I’ve had him as my server a few times now, and so I felt the need to share how wonderful his service was. Dozens of times coming here, and he is wonderful every time.
The severs here are SO kind and truly care about the customers. They also have the BEST fruit syrups and their gluten free pancakes are to die for!
Jorge was awesome!! Thank you for the great service ! 😊
Always a great place for breakfast food, the service is always fantastic. One of my favorites in Tacoma!
Best food. Best service. Best staff. PERIOD.
Always excellent service and food. Jorge always remembers our faces and orders and greets us with a smile 😊 he also always gets our special requests for the food just right!
Only the pancakes are good. Juice seemed watered down, potatoes are soft and wet, everything but the pancakes are mediocre.
We'll still take our son for pancakes at least.
Good morning. I’ve spent the past week in Asheville, NC. The food there hurt my stomach, I’m so stoked to reintroduced the familiar greatness of OPH back to my diet. I’ve survived, I’m a fighter. I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers that sustained me through this difficult week. Jorge’s outstanding service has renewed my faith in the goodness of the human race. Thank you and have a great weekend. PS… we’ll see you next week.
Excellent food and service always! I want to personally thank Lula and Ellie for always making us feel welcome. It's refreshing to see the joy they express in serving customers.

Ask for a sample of the gravy an was charged 5 bucks.
Our server Jon was amazing. He was such a delight to have. He had a great smile and was very accommodating. A wonderful dining experience. The pancakes, omelet were so good.
My son and I went there for dinner. One server working. She had on dirty clothing with food scattered all over her uniform.
We asked for coffee to start and one was served with coffee grounds on the mug rim. She never checked back on us and when she finally came with the bill, she tried to collect my credit card without giving me the bill. I had to ask for the bill before paying it. In short, I will not be returning.
Excellent accomodation and food. Very courteous server, great with customers.Thank you For a very Great first time experience! I will be back !!
Charity is the greatest server! She makes up for a lackluster menu and lukewarm atmosphere.
What they do, they do well. Consistency is important to me when it comes to food. I'd like to see a more dynamic menu, but it serves its purpose v
