We stopped here for brunch on our way to the peninsula, and it was such a treat! Generous portions of food and lovely combinations of ingredients to really enhance the flavors of the dishes. Big outside venue/patio with plenty of indoor seating as well. Will definitely come back when I can try a drink or two and have some more yummy and filling food! ?Vegetarian options: Shared the breakfast tacos, watermelon mint salad, and the figgy toast! Everything had generous portions and a lively combo of ingredients. The only suggestion may be to put less fig and more labneh on the toast, but the lemon rinds were a lovely addition to brighten all the flavors!

Wow, just so much wow. Such a superbly designed multi-use space!Came to a family drag show in the spacious courtyard, and was given free band tickets for the indoor space afterward. The boozy slushy was divine and a strong pour!So many amazing events here with snarky posters to promote them by what must be the most creative planning committee ever! Muah!!

Phenomenal food!!!Brunch on the weekend at the cafe was amazing! It was so refreshing to know that the ingredients are locally sourced and the kitchen chefs are working on the farms to farm the sources for the food!Full menu & good drinks! Def recommend the pork belly sandwich! Soooo good!!We happened to go when there was a native arts market!! It was sooooo much fun! And beautiful vendors!!!

This place is a nice place, and spacious. The food is good, the only thing that I didn’t like so much was the sausage its more on the salty side. The iced coffee was more on the sweet side I couldn’t taste the coffee because the sweetness was overpowering. The service was excellent though! There’s a parking space next to the building that you’re able to park, I didn’t know until we asked. Overall it was a fair visit.

Had brunch at this unusual spot in Tacoma. Interesting menu options. Wish they had fresh cut fries and served a little quicker but otherwise a reasonable option. Was busy when we visted.

Beautifully presented brunch plates that taste delicious! I had the aebleskiver sweet and definitely recommend it when you're in a sweet mood. Next time I go, I want to try the aebleskiver savory. Great open atmosphere with a good amount of natural light.

I bought a salmon salad and a scone plate that came with strawberry and whipped foam cream and jam. I also got a bottomless cup of coffee for 2.75. Very good. Love the atmosphere of the dining area, and beautiful are on the walls and in shelf spaces.Great service, and you have to clear your own tables, but they sanitize the tables before you sit. It was busy today (Sunday) because they were also holding a punk rock flea market with booths in the side garden, in the back stage room, and upstairs on the roof. Lots of fun, and I felt like I was really a part of my community. Lot's of parking availability, even if it's busy.Wheelchair accessibility: First floor, street accessible.Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Ordered the savory aebleskiver for weekend brunch. Was intrigued. A quick online search followed as I'd never heard of them before. All the ingredients together in a pancake ball were delicious! Crunchy outside (baked, not fried), fluffy slightly sweet inside with creamy savory salmon. Asparagus, green onion, dill, & crema drizzle. Just wonderful! 5 of them made for a great meal... satisfying without being stuffed. Nice atmosphere: casual, relaxed, warm. Order/pay at the counter, brought to the table, & bus your dishes afterward. Highly recommend this spot!!!

This was my first time here since the pandemic and I was very excited to return. I had a pretty giant breakfast with my friend and we had THE BEST salmon I may have ever eaten. And since this is the PNW, you know that's saying a lot. It came as a salmon salad and I'm going to return just for that. We also got some chorizo tacos and aebleskiver, those puffy little pancake things, which were okay, not great. But our rose lattes were good and part of our purchase went towards a good cause. I was really happy to be back and so was my girl -- we both ran into people we know. Such a great place to hang --though be warned -- it can get noisy. The acoustics are not good

This cafe has large windows surrounding the whole outside of the restaurant. This gives great lighting inside is industrial-ish you order upfront and they bring the food to you. You then bus your own table when you’re done. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got the quinoa, kale salad and the flavors were amazing. I asked them to add two over medium eggs which they did and this really balanced my meal out.I’ll be back!

I have been here for the music venue, been many years since I ate at The Lounge. The were very short staffed. 20 min after arrival and still waiting for beverages, we begged a passing waitress of we could order. We also had to beg twice to have our water glasses filled, after I watched a wait person with two water carafes fill all the other water glasses in our section. Twice someone walked past the table, we motioned for attention yet no one asked us if we wanted a second drink. The food was very good. We got the chili with the cornbread that arrived uncooked and completely stuck to the iron skillet.

This is truly an interesting place. In a sense, this is a restaurant first and foremost. With a massive outdoor seating area that can accommodate all 4 seasons, it might be one of the largest outdoor dining areas in Tacoma. Don't quote me on that. But it's not just an outdoor eating area.I'm not sure where to draw distinctions in what this place is, but I can tell you that I have been to a lot here. I have seen relaxed rooftop concerts in the fall that felt like entirely special events, large local markets in the winter inside of the giant event hall, eaten locally and native inspired foods on the patio in the summer, and grabbed some coffee and cocktails indoors during the spring.Every time I have been, it has been a great experience. The food is great, the drinks are wonderful, and the experience is always a delight. I highly recommend you stop by for some brunch during the summer, but keep an eye open for any events that may occur all throughout the year.

We were there for Brunch so we ordered a Burger and Benedict. The Bison burger has excellent flavor and texture. Very well conceived and constructed. Shoestring fries were a perfect accompaniment. The Benedict is somewhat non-traditional as you must choose between a salmon cake or mushroom cake instead of Canadian bacon. Opted for the salmon but i think the mushroom cake wouldve paired better with the wilted greens. The english muffin SHOULD HAVE been more toasted: it was tough to cut, which is already not fun when dealing with wilted greens, and would have better absorbed the bright citrus Hollandaise. Finally, i also had the "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" tea, which is a superior digestive tonic and i wish i could buy it to keep at home.

If you want a nice picture for your Instagram then his place is the spot for you. Mind you, the glassware (really it’s just plastic) is cracked and the water decanter looked dirty. The water had also been sitting out since before we sat down so I didn’t drink out of it. For the price I would have expected someone to bus our table but you have to do it yourself. The food was honestly good. No complaints there. I guess it’s just the little things that made it unpleasant for me. Again, the atmosphere is good and it’s a nice looking outdoor space. It just felt like the food area at a music festival and not a proper restaurant.

What an incredible community space! While we ate on the patio (soundtrack: Sinatra and jazz instrumental), a bopping rap concert was happening inside and something else was going on at the rooftop bar! Because of the event, menu items were streamlined, but our party enjoyed the sour dough grilled cheese, fries, and cheeseburger. House wines and seasonal slushie were also hits. Patio seating is pick-a-table, order at the bar, and have your food delivered. Bus your table (bonus points for compost containers). Friendly, helpful staff and a very fun vibe, plus plenty of healthy-feeling outdoor seating with plenty of ventilation but also a tent to protect from rain. Hearty grilled cheese with fries was $10, house wine $8.Vegetarian options: The grilled cheese and salad were good vegetarian options on the night we ate. Menus change, but I get the sense that they always have vegetarian options available.
