Our go to spot in Tacoma for over ten years! The staff is fantastic, the hot dogs are magical and the drink selection is massive! Great vibes, easy atmosphere to chat with friends, play a game or go on a date. Can’t recommend this place enough! Their vegan hot dog menu is great & accommodating for non meat eating diners.

The vegan dogs are amazing and definitely need to make sure you show some love to the strange combinations like the top of Tacoma or the hound dog! It is our favorite location for the darkest day and it is our annual tradition!

The Red Hot is one of Tacoma’s best beer spots. The food is good, great selection of beers, and the service is top notch. Particularly our favorite bartender Elliott, who is such a mensch. He knows the kind of beer I like and is always Johnny on the spot with a great recommendation. My wife thinks he’s super cute, I cannot say, but I’ll take her word for it. He does always smell good, I’ll give him that. Except once when he smelled rather strongly of sauerkraut but that was the result of a rather unfortunate mishap with a 5 gallon bucket of sauerkraut which was entirely outside of his control. He can also spit mad rhymes but only after a few strong IPA’s. Anyway, go check out The Red Hot and if you get Elliott as a server, drop a phat beat on him and watch what he can do.

They use field roast dogs and lots of options for toppings!! We split our order of a Kommissar & the Goodfellow. But we’re awesome and quick to the table. My hubby also enjoyed the recommend beer. We are driving and RV and didn’t have any trouble parking. Would definitely come back!
