Fish and chips were solid, not amazing, but I would definitely order again. The weekly special was an Hawaiian burger with pineapple and jalapeno. It was AMAZING. The flavors just worked and was honestly one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. I'm not typically a fan of bar food, but this was definitely elevated. As an unexpected bonus they had live music which added to the evening enjoyment.

Well, it took over 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. Once order taken, took over 30 minutes to get food. Had to ask for salt & pepper. Didn't receive a knife. There were only 3 other tables.

Great place, staff is superb, and the food is GREAT! Went for live music, had the prawns (unbelievably good), coffee, wine, prosecco.. and had a fantastic time. Just wish there was room to dance when the live music is in town...

Food was great. I had to wait a little longer than expected. Wait staff was good and the decor is historical.

It is really idyllic to sit by the open window during a summer sunset looking out at the water with an occasion train passing by. Thank you for having gluten free options for me!!

I was playing pool at the Spar on live music night. Wednesday jazz night. The place was full of people and the floor started swaying side to side and the lights above the pool tables were swinging back and forth. I had only had 2 sips of a Rainier beer. It wasnt me. This is extremely unsafe. Fix it.

Saratoga chips were somewhat worth the wait. We were one of two parties in the dining area. The bar was fairly full. One waitress and one cook at lunchtime on a Wednesday. We got refills one time on drinks. It was a long wait for our food. Manager needs to hire more staff.

Chairs were low and not good for medium to large sized butts—very uncomfortable.

Came in at noon, we were the only people in the place after a table of 3 left besides some younger kids (maybe their own hanging out). Ordered quickly, simple fish and chips. We waited over 15 minutes - the food was done sitting under a headlamp. Both waitress and cook had left not to be seen.

Fish was fine, nothing spectacular. Fries were cold. Not a great experience. Also note that they charge a 4% credit card fee which is wild for a full service bar & restaurant.
