I met up with my mom for lunch here a couple of weeks ago. She had been raving about it, so I was really looking forward to trying it, especially since it’s so close to where I live. We arrived a little before 11:00 am and were able to grab seats at the counter almost right away.
The place was very busy, which is always a good sign. There was a constant stream of people coming in to pick up orders, and although the shop is quite small with limited seating, it’s easy to see why there’s usually a line.
The staff was very nice and clearly hard working people.
We ordered the roasted pork noodle soup, and it was fantastic. The pork was crispy, the noodles were the perfect size with a great chew, and the broth was rich and flavorful. Portions are generous, I couldn’t even finish mine and was happy to take the rest home.
I definitely recommend coming here. You won’t regret it.

Food was delicious, the sauces on the table looked like they hadn't been wiped down in a few weeks and we were the first in at opening.

We were quickly greeted with the smell of BBQ pork and duck. The waiter and staff were so kind and on top of it. He really sold me on the dessert haha. He reminded me of my uncle 😊. I felt so welcomed and had such an amazing experience. In addition to the great service, the food was just as amazing. Great portions, fresh, crispy, and flavorful. I will be coming back!

A total surprise meal!! Randomly selected after searching online while driving from Portland to Seattle. Easy to find off I-5 north or south bound. This is a MUST stop destination if restaurant hours and travel time through Tacoma align. It is worth it to make sure you can make it for a meal early after it first opens! The food and service are superior and best quality. A basic menu but each item offered is quality food at very reasonable cost. We will be back again and again during our trips between Seattle and Portland.

Called around 11am for pick up order but no one answer their phone. Went to order for pick up, took me 20mins to wait for order. Pork intestine is not good compared to chinese style. Very chewy, not crunchy as I was expecting. Bbq pork with noodles was good, roasted pork was a meh. too fatty to almost no flavor. Coffee was strong and a little too sweet but good. Overall, I might comeback for the bbq pork. Price was decent. The place was amost packed. They also need to upgrade their ordering system, like maybe use a machine than just typing the amount on an old calculator and taking order on sticky notes.

This place was highly recommended by a friend. We were informed they ran out of duck and had only pork. Overall, the food tasted really good. Customer service was 50-50 for me and the space for dine-in is quite limited. I do plan to return. Hopefully, they will have duck available.

Holy heck the food is AMAZING here. I went after a buddy told me about it and it did not disappoint at all. Got there about 1pm and had to wait a bit, it was packed inside. Make sure you go early because they will run out of food. They close by 3pm and turning away people by 2:30. Judging by the bbq duck and pork we ate it makes total sense.
Staff are super nice, asked if we had been in before and made recommendations for us. After we ate a staff member was cutting jack fruit and various other ingredients for desserts they were making. We were curious so they told us all about what each one was, where it came from and how they used it. Really friendly group inside. Will definitely be returning often.

One of the servers lady is very crumbly and bossy. She is just like what ever she said then we have to listen and accept whatever she said. 👎

Best Vietnamese BBQ in town, haven’t been anywhere that’s topped their portion sizes or crispy duck skin. Would definitely recommend giving it a shot if you haven’t yet.

BBQ pork and roasted pork with rice were good. Duck noodle was alright, didn’t have much flavor in the duck. There was this Vietnamese server who was really rude to us. We picked up a few napkins to use, and she came to us to complain that we took too many. Maybe next time be more attentive to your customers and actually clean the table so we have to do your job.

Today I came in to buy 2 lbs of bbq pork. When I got home and opened up the box, they literally gave me a box of pork fat. There was barely any meat. I have spent $36 dollars literally on pork fat. It isn’t cheap, so I expect quality. So disappointed!
There should be quality check at the restaurant and your business should not sell to customers like this! Customers, please check your food before you get out of the restaurant.
I called the restaurant today two times but no one picked up. I assumed they are busy. I will call the restaurant tomorrow again.
