I was at the restaurant today with a friend when we came in we were seated in an extremely noisy area of the restaurant and then ignored. I had to go find a server and asked to be moved. We were then moved to a much better part of the restaurant. The food was good. We both agreed but the service was abysmal. I have my guesses about why I received bad service but I don’t feel comfortable saying that out loud. Let’s just say I would never go back there and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Well they serve beer. Can't screw that up, but the food is a no go. The meatlovers is just a smorgasbord of what looks like they pulled out of the sinks garbage disposal. Even the hashbrowns were stale. It felt like I was eating what they couldn't sell yesterday with the chicken fried steak. It was smothered in curdled cold gravy. The people are nice but the cook should be FIRED.

Parking: In front of the restaurant and across the street are paid parking spots. A $1 and you can go eat. There are other spots all around with in an easy walk

Tim's Kitchen in Tacoma is amazing!! Food is delicious portion sizes are HUGE for the price. 10 out of 10. Service is great staff is friendly, place is clean!! Highly recommend!!!!

Just had lunch there. Worst sandwich I’ve ever had. Ordered a chicken, bacon avocado. No avocado in the sandwich, and it was extremely greasy. I couldn’t even cut the chicken with a knife. Both of the people with me had similar experiences with their meals.sure wouldn’t go back

Chicken and waffles, meh. Waffle was really good. Chicken had absolutely no seasoning. None. My son liked his pancake but also complained about the lack of any type of salt/seasoning on his eggs. Sausage link was good! Prob should stick to Side Piece and Buddy’s Chicken & Waffles if you want real flavor/seasoning. Lemonade was, lemonade. Nothing to write home about. If you’re used to bland food, then this place shouldn’t let you down! Over priced and under seasoned..

I got to Tim’s restaurant at around 4:30 walk through the front doors. There was only about 20 people in the restaurant. There was a young kid working as a waiter and also there was an older lady who was waiting as well. I waited at the podium near the door for about eight minutes through the course of the eight minutes, I wasn’t greeted by neither one of these two people, I don’t know if it was because I’m black and there was a restaurant full of white people is that the reason why I didn’t get served I’ve never waited longer than five minutes restaurant to be greeted by the hostess or servers. I felt very disrespected and ignored when I got to this restaurant so as a result, I left this is why you guys receive a one star from me And you’re treating me like this I guarantee you’re treating people the same way. I came in the restaurant with a positive attitude and left with a negative experience I guess I’ll never really know how the food tasted
Fantastic food and amazing service. Courtney was an awesome and attentive server, and has a wonderful dedication to the customer experience. Everything my party had was great, and the care into making sure everything was going well elevated the experience. If I could give 6 stars I would, and I will be recommending the food to everyone I know!

Stopped by for Sunday brunch and Tim's did not disappoint! Great atmosphere, football on the TV, food was amazing. I got the California Benny and my boyfriend got the County Benny and we shared. Great service too, everyone was super friendly. Shout out to our server, Courtney! She made us feel right at home :-) We'll definitely be back!

Not only do they have THE BEST chicken and waffles, but they also have amazing customer service! I ordered on Grubhub online and apparently their system with them was down, after dealing with Grubhub for far too long on the phone, Courtney was EXTREMELY helpful and they all went out of their way to ease the experience and make the situation right! Also, I take my 2 year old there all the time and they are very patient and understanding! The train going around the dining room helps too! Thank you Tim's Kitchen for being awesome!
