Tim's Kitchen was a fun find! I came here with some people while we were near UW Tacoma campus for lunch. It was a Wednesday around 1:30pm and were seated right away. The servers were nice, attentive, and thorough. Our food was served promptly and tasted great! There was music playing, plenty of seating, and affordable drink prices. I would return if I was in the area again for sure.

The newest disappointment in Tacoma. Closed for Super Bowl. Adjusted breakfast hours to 9am instead of 7. You have to wait for service or track the staff down because they are sitting and chatting with each other. The lights at the bar block the TV and you need to crank your neck to look at it. Let me know when it’s a real restaurant /bar, has consistent food quality, and hours.

Slowest service. My husband ordered a soda-never received it. My twin girls ordered the side of fruit with their sandwiches-never got that either. My honey mustard chicken sandwich did not taste like there was any honey mustard on it. My husband said his bacon avocado chicken sandwich was dry. We were charged for the soda. When my husband went to tell the server about the soda on our bill, she was on the phone. We had to seek out the server because we needed to leave for a gymnastics meet. This was around 4pm Friday. It was not crowded at all. We went because of all the great reviews, but were sadly disappointed at the first dining experience we had in Washington.

Food was excellent and the service was great. Really comfy relaxed environment plus the awesome custom train driving around over head was a bonus my little guy loved it!!

Very fun and beautiful place with kind hearted staff! ❤️ I went at a not busy time, and the atmosphere was chill! Great place to bring family, friends, and dates! Excellent strawberry lemonade! I had teriyaki chicken and 2 sides(macaroni and mash potatoes w/gravy). Excellent! My compliments to the chefs and waiter for an amazing experience! The only thing that could be better is if there was freeze dried strawberry bits in the lemonade.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Okayyyyy this was our first time there and it didn't disappoint at all. The chicken and waffles was so good and you get to pick the chicken you want that was a major plus.

Go to this place if you are very hungry, or very willing to have more bacon than any doctor would recommend, or think trains are cool. The food is solid, and the service is like visiting an auntie's house.

I ordered from Grubhub sat Feb 3rd, it said 45 min for a lunch order. I showed up at 1245p and my order was not ready, wasn't even started. I was on my lunch break and wanted to s/w Mgr to see why this wS ready. Her name is Amy. She was VERY RUDE, NON APOLOGETIC and needs a different job. I'm in Customer service and this girl has no clue what the word means. I asked what they could do since my order wasn't even started and her response was " Nothing with that attitude " I was like excuse me. She said we have closed sales to all 3rd party and yiu can go through them to get a refund. We take care if in-house before outsiders and it will be another hr for you food. I was like that is unacceptable and the restaurant shouldn't confirm orders tgat cant fulfill. She said go thru gubhub to get refund and walked away.Never have I Been spoken too especially by a mgr when they are at fault. This shows poorly on this restaurant and I will not order from them again and yes all my Contacts won't either.Clean up your staff or you will continue to lose business.

One of the worst food choices I have had in Tacoma. Alfred's makes a better monte Cristo, The atmosphere is that of a place that's going out of business. The food is just ok. Better off going to McDonald's imo.

Perfect hashbrowns. if you're looking for old-school bad ass hashbrowns, this is the place. Good coffee and it's big. You never have to wait for a table.

Really cool place. That old "Main St" construction with original wood floors, huge dining area, great service and DELICIOUS food. I'll be back for sure.
