Found a lady attendant on Moday afternoon, she was mean and acted kinda racist. Until the guy co-worker intervened and served me.
If I could give this place a 10,000/5, I would. Perfect every time

I’d been craving a cold-cut Vietnamese sandwich and finally decided to try Toast Mi. I ordered two sandwiches, and both were delicious. It’s rare to find a place that nails the perfect French baguette, but they did it phenomenally.
Unfortunately, my interaction with the cashier took away from the experience. I walked in with a smile, but wasn’t greeted with one in return. The cashier seemed cold, staring blankly at me throughout the entire interaction. She didn’t ask any questions and seemed focused on getting me out the door as quickly as possible. It’s disappointing when service overshadows great food.
That said, the gentleman who prepared my sandwiches was very kind, and I genuinely appreciated his warm demeanor.

One of my favorite banh mi places around. The price per portion and taste is great (although getting more expensive like everything else). I haven't had anything I didn't enjoy from here, the chicken, pork, cold cuts banh mis are my go to, and I often crave their bowls with added salad.. very yummy.

Not a big online reviewer, but I feel compelled.
I ordered a sandwich to go. The young lady was nice enough who took my order. 3 minutes later I get a gruff “your sandwich is ready” and the girl making the sandwich slams the food on the counter and meets my eye with a hostile glare.
I’m not sure why the angry vibe but it’s weird.

We have lived in several places and have tried lots of places here and elsewhere that sold banh mi sandwiches but these are the best banh mi sandwiches we have had! We think they might make their own buns because they are so very tasty and just as good as the fresh baguettes we had when we lived in France! The sandwich ingredients are fresh and flavorful and we especially love the wonderful paté they include on them, unless you tell them you are vegetarian or vegan. They make the paté themselves and it is also as delicious as any we used to have in France! We like their rice bowls too. If you haven’t been to the “Toast Mi”…located in Lacey…we highly recommend seeking it out and giving it a try. If you like banh mi sandwiches, you will be happy that you did!

Place was nice, servers were nice enough, but I’ve never had a banh mi I didn’t finish before this one. Very bland. My friend ordered vegetarian, I got pork. We threw them out half way and had snacks instead. Pork was ground up? Very subpar. Maybe if this was your first time trying banh mi you’d like it?

Pretty good sandwich. Don't expect a thank you or have a nice day. The girls at the counter were not very friendly. Probably won't go back.
