80 dollars in rolls and they look like this? In addition I go to pickup and the front desk worker says they have no wasabi. I said that isn't acceptable so she went back and got wasabi. lol , this place used to be good.

My current favorite in Tacoma, but will go to any location. My favorite roll is the Captain Crunch. Service is always great and I always have the same servers. Very clean look and feel. No complaints.

The couple of times we've been, it's always so good. I love getting the deep fried sushi rolls, the crunch then the soft chewy texture of the rice, salmon and cream cheese chefs kiss

Rarely do I leave Sushi uneaten as it is one of my favorite things to eat. But, here, I did. I don't want to seem racist, but I should have known better when I walked in and noticed only 20-something white people working the restaurant. The sushi and all the other food was dull and boring, completely forgettable. Not "bad", per se. Just Meh. I wasn't inspired to glutton it down like I do elsewhere.I will not be eating here again. The miso soup was devoid of flavor, the Calamari was greasy and a whole breadedl/fried squid, (gross!), the edamame was so overcooked the shells were brown, the tempura veggies were soggy and so undercooked the onions were crunchy and nearly raw inside, my kids didn't eat anything but the plain rice.Just no.$90 wasted, not even worth taking photos.

I went in alone around 2 and the place was pretty empty. The sushi bar was half full. I sat down at it and instead of being greeted, as you typically would be by the guys behind the bar, with a big welcome like any other sushi bar. I was greeted with, "are you ordering 'all you can eat'? Because you can only sit here for all you can eat." I said, " well I'm probably going to order a couple rolls." So they pointed over to the side bar in the corner and said that I have to sit over there or at a table. I was very confused. I walked over to the far corner bar and ordered my rolls. I complained to the server about what had happened and he told me about the "all you can eat" situation. When my bill came of course I ended up paying a lot more because it wasn't "all you can eat." As a new customer and not knowing about their "specials" or the guys at the sushi bar didn't explain to me I felt pretty annoyed. Rather than getting to enjoy the "sushi bar" I was made to feel like a bum that just walked in and told to go sit somewhere else.

I had the special Seoul roll and it was delicious! Our server was delightful (I think he said his name was Justin). He recommended the shishito peppers and they were tasty.

This is the worst "Japanese" sushi bar I've been to. The staff is slow, rude and inefficient. Last time I was in there there were two guys at the front of the store just hanging out, being bros, shooting the breeze while one guy prepared all of the food.

I always hit the lunch buffet here and it's just killer! The staff is friendly, the fish is fresh, and the sushi is fire (metaphorically speaking, of course). If you e got a sushi craving and a big appetite, this is the spot for you.

Love this place, was going there years ago when it was the old little building, food was great and still is. Great selection.... fantastic food, good prices. Service was OK. Beautiful new building.

This place has a poor atmosphere, especially for sushi. Blaring bright lights, cafeteria-style tables and chairs, feels like fast food sushi. Service was disorganized but not the server's fault; seemed more like a systemic issue. The food was just ok. Portions are very large, which is nice, but again, it came out feeling like it was rushed and not at all authentic. The rolls aren't that creative, and literally all of them have some kind of special house terriyaki sauce, which is annoying if you want a traditional sushi roll. My sashimi salad combo had squid in it, which was not indicated on the description and I would have never ordered had I known- only after taking a bite did I know I was eating squid/octopus, which I strictly don't eat. It's located in the storefront of one of the new 6th Ave big box buildings and the vibe reflects that. Don't come here for a date night or for an intimate dinner.
