The pastries are so good and the Customer service is great! The owner of the store is also very sweet and welcoming.

Geoff with Unqiue Bakery made our experience wonderful. He is an excellent choice as the face of the bakery. He is friendly, willing to help, well-timed, and knowledgeable on the pastries and their relevance to France. We tried the kouign-amann and it paired nicely with our lattes. Thank you, Geoff! I popped in during a walk and ended up trying one of each available macaron flavor, all amazing! The rest of the dessert selection looks marvelous too. I'll be back again and again I'm sure.

As I'm gluten free the only thing I could eat were the macarons but they are reason enough to travel a long distance to attain. They are unreal, sublime - chocolate with a flavor so profoundly chocolatey it makes other chocolate taste like cardboard, pistachio that is so delicious, you must order more... even though the cabinet is full of other colorful delights. The macarons are a taste of perfection in this imperfect world. This is a bright, clean, friendly space, with great service. There was even parking out front. We're going back.

Me and my friends came here after church, and it was lovely! There was quick service and the cashier was very friendly. All the pastries that we had were very good, and the coffee was delicious! Definitely going to come again.I didn't take many pictures since I hate taking pictures in public, but here's one of the pretty display case and a pretty looking Danish that me and my friend split.

Giving a 5 because the service was outstanding, the strawberry danish was great and the location had lots of parking. The macaroons could have had a little more flavor but the bake was good. One ask - please consider switching to compostable to-go-containers. It hurt my soul a bit to walk out with 3 styrofoam containers. But otherwise, would go back!

You guys. You need to help me support this amazing local bakery so I don't gain 300 lbs trying to keep them in business. Discovered them yesterday on a street no one ever walks down. Ambiance is a little basic, but the service was fantastic and the pastry case is like walking into Candyland. I got a strawberry turnover and ate it on the sidewalk in a shower of flaky pastry crumbs and sugar, in a state of complete nirvana. Went back today for coffee and an equally delicious almond croissant, all made fresh on-site. This is my new happy place.

How the mighty have fallen. We haven't gotten baked goods here for a while and, apparently, ownership has changed. The mango cheesecake was loaded with gelatin, and was, literally, inedible. The tiramisu was dry and pale in flavor. Everything still looks beautiful, but I can't tell you how badly I felt when I brought these deserts to the table for some friends' anniversary dinner!We will not be back. This is a pity, because there are few specialty bakeries in Tacoma.

Was super excited to check this bakery out as the pictures and reviews seem overwhelmingly positive and seemingIy varied selection of pasteries etc. I arrived here fairly early between 8-9am however, this place was so underwhelming. The cases were completely barren aside for 2 cheesecakes. The middle display had a selection that wasn't fresh and looked like something you'd get at a Gas Station. I was so disappointed as this place was highly recommended on a couple sites as being a French Patisserie. However, the only fresh thing here was the Bagel.....which was nothing special but I had travelled quite a distance I didn't want to completely waste my time so I just got something... The service was good and I did get extra cream cheese for my bagel but definitely not worth going out of my way to try sadly. Such a disappointment.

I've gotten coffee here several times and it's always fantastic. I'm a bit of an espresso snob and it exceeds my expectations. There's also a good selection of baked goods (including macaroons!) and there is lots of space for working or meeting with a friend. Staff is always very friendly, too!
